Coming down with a fever

Ciudad Pasarela es una banda de Rock Indie, con fuertes influencias del rock argentino, británico y sureño norteamericano, que se forma en Medellín en el 2006, ideado por Tjebbe Donner y Camilo Galeano, quienes trabajaron juntos (entre otros), con la banda de rock local eLSOTANO.

En el 2008 publica su primer trabajo discográfico independiente, el cual contó con la participación de reconocidos músicos de la ciudad. Los dos primeros sencillos, “Tequila y cerveza” y “Breathe a little louder” tuvieron presencia fuerte en los medios locales (radio, televisión) y en las redes sociales de internet (Myspace, Facebook, YouTube).

Las letras y las temáticas de este primer disco giraron alrededor de las vivencias diarias de cualquier habitante de una ciudad grande.  Incluye canciones de amor y desamor, puntos de vista políticos y sociales y otras historias sacadas directamente de la vida diaria.

Del 2008 al 2010 la banda estuvo dedicada a hacer promoción de este álbum, mediante conciertos, videos, tiendas online (iTunes, Amazon), merchandising y descargas gratuitas. Asimismo tuvo gran acogida en la escena local de Medellín, hizo parte del Festival Altavoz 2009 y empezó a incursionar a nivel nacional con recitales en renombrados lugares de Bogotá a finales del 2009.

Durante el 2012 crearon los temas de su nuevo disco titulado "Tren del Circo", el cual se presentará al público en Medellín el 3 de mayo de 2013 en el Teatro Matacandelas. El primer sencillo, "El mal tiempo", se puede escuchar y descargar en su sitio web www.ciudadpasarela.com.

Desde ya el "Tren del Circo" se encuentra disponible en formato digital en tiendas como iTunes, Amazon, Deezer, Spotify, Nokia Music entre otros y físicamente se podrá conseguir a partir del 3 de mayo.
