Civy C-del, is a Canadian Hip Hop Recording Artist & Singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. 

Although raised by a single mother in Canada, C-del would intermittently travel to New York to visit his Father; as well as New Jersey which he considers a second home. 

Known for his diverse witty lyrics, grungy attitude and high confidence, he continues to strive to create futuristic, uncommon flow pattern and styles that his fans view as inspirational. 

His musical approach is a fusion of Notorious B.I.G's unpredictable technique mixed with J.Cole's storytelling abilities. 

After releasing his mixtape "My 2 cents" in February 2016, which is a project compiled of songs he recorded when he was 16, Civy gained the attention of Cash Money Record A&R's whom he subsequently worked with on his latest project "The Civilian" (November 2016) 

Civy has performed at several major events and venues throughout the Greater Toronto Area; such as a televised showcase at The Hard Rock Café and significant underground hip hop shows throughout Toronto. 

Civy on stylizing his stage name with cent signs “I’m bringing my 2 cents to the world, what I’ve seen and heard throughout my life and my overall opinion on things; most urban artists have dollar signs in their names, I wanted to be different."

C-del just released his forthcoming project entitled "The Civilian 2" which is a 9 song EP continuation to The Civilian.  “It’s nothing like the first project, I took my time to really capture what I believe is the perfect sound.” With several North American shows in the works for the year of 2021.

"Slakah the Beatchild", or “Beatchild” as he is now known, has been making our heads nod with his signature soulful sound since the inception of his iconic Soul Movement Volumes I (2008) and II (2012). A compilation series of elegant, feel-good soul and hip hop written and produced entirely by Beatchild and featuring noteworthy artists such as Drake ("Bad Meaning Good", "Share"), Glenn Lewis ("Number 1"), Divine Brown ("Crate Love") amongst others.
In an unexpected shift of sound Beatchild followed up with an album under a new moniker - The Slakadeliqs. "The Other Side of Tomorrow” (2010) was a critically acclaimed album which pulled from hip-hop, soul, folk, pop, psychedelic rock - pretty much any sound found in a dusty crate of vinyl. Beatchild seamlessly blurred genre boundaries and created a sound for our future by drawing from the past.

Beatchild is often referred to as a genius in the studio and he has consistently blessed us with exceptional music that leaves his fans in eager anticipation for his next release.
