Born in Portsmouth Virginia, Tony has been involved with 
music since he was 2 years old playing guitars
and singing in church. Many years later thru dedication, hard
work, enthusiasm, and constant practice he has honed his skills
and become an accomplished musician. He earned an associate
degree (Audio Engineer) just before the COVID pandemic in
2017. Tony went on to earn a bachelor’s degree (Administration)
during the COVID pandemic in 2020. Copeland has a music 
catalog which consists of published soul, blues, jazz, R&B songs 
produced by his production company, Teejaydees Productions.

“Waterfalls” and his single releases, “We Are One” (Maze Cover
which reached #12 on the DRT Global Top 150 Independent
airplay Charts on 04.24.2021), “Winter Wonderland, “The Rightway”
(Gospel), “Classic Moments” (C-Jazz), “Get Off My Neck”
(George Floyd Tribute) to his current 2022 “Love Virus” album
release which host a variety of genres from Hip Hop, R&B, Southern
Soul and Jazz, Tony aka “TGC” still strives to become a better 
performer, musician, writer, producer along with being a mentor 
for the younger willing generation who are reaching out for a 
helping hand during these post COVID, uncertain and tumultuous
times in America and around the world.

As of 2010 The Junior Gordon Band is blazing and burning up every stage they steps foot on, with their broad stretch of music Texas music that is sure to please any crowd. Understanding that in the crowd there are fans that love to hear all styles of Country Music and bringing that is what he and the Guys do. In April of 2013 they were nominated by The Houston Press for Best Band of the year, Best local video of the year, Junior himself also being nominated for Local musician of the year and Best Male vocal. The band has gone through growing pains, learning curves, and sometimes being totally dysfunctional. After a long struggle and dealing with inflated egos, he is now backed by some of the best guys in the business and they are having a great time watching the wheels turn in motion. 
 At a very young age Junior was inspired by one of the greatest dance halls in the world, the all to Famous Gilley’s in Pasadena Texas.  It was there that his eyes and ears were filled by the sounds of so many of the greatest country music legends of all time. You see both of Junior’s parents worked at Gilley’s giving him front row seats at any time to see the hot country favorites. This part of his life is where county music set in for him and did not stop; he will always remember where he came from and how it all got started.
