DJ Fett Burger is one of the main figures behind a lot of the very best of Norway's independently released music (likewise for dancefloors and more relaxed settings). He is head honcho at Sex Tags UFO and Mongo Fett, he runs Sex Tags Mania and Sex Tags Amfibia together with DJ Sotofett and Freakout Cult together with Jayda G between 2015-18. He also seems to have some sort of involvement with the mysterious Club No-No. 

Like few others, DJ Fett Burger has created a creative cosmos that feels at the same time fascinatingly uniform yet entirely free; while maintaining an incredible level of quality in both artwork and musical content. His DJ-sets are often unpredictable, mixing different genres and types of music with amazing skill and feeling for the room. Listening to him play, we have more than once found ourselves glued to the dance floor, eagerly anticipating the next surprise, the next turn in genre, the next daring transition.

About my productions: I try to make the intention around my productions natural, almost sub-conscious - intention when producing music can get you into some tricky spots, where you aren’t really feeling anything but rather just forcing it. I was chatting to a friend the other day and he was showing me some of his music, it was so pure, authentic, i could tell it was a labour of love and i thought that’s when you make the best stuff, when you pour it all out, it doesn’t have to be hard, but it does have to be real.

About the mix: Dance floor direct stuff has an immediacy to it, when you are crafting something to be played at home, the reasoning changes, as if you almost want to be immersed in its temporality. For me these records recall a lot of the initial moments of connecting with something which validates an experience. 

Headspace when i made the mix: I’m not a fantastic sleeper, i’ve always had issues with that. I wouldn’t say i’m terrible, i mean i’ve survived but it does agitate me. If i can’t sleep, i’ll usually head to my studio to make or mix music. It’s always weird & somnambulistic but i feel at peace there and i’m never trying to make too much noise. In this case, i felt recreating some dream-state, slipping between moods and riding the very soft ebbs and flows of energy i get from mild insomnia.

SBat - Subterra - Live at Upsidedown 17.06.23

This set was recorded live on the night opening from 11pm - 1am for Subterra, something I hope will become a regular thing in Osaka (and hopefully Tokyo). It was a truly amazing night to be a part of and something I spent a lot of time thinking about and getting records together that I hoped I could piece together on the night to suck people in and set the scene for DJ Morita, Lene Andreasen and yu1 (who all played amazingly). The mix is of course a bit rough around the edges, a couple of times I zigged when I planned to zag but hopefully that adds to the charm and the journey as a whole is one you'll enjoy. I know I certainly enjoyed being there and listening back to it brings back memories of what was an incredible night that I won't soon forget.

I went back through the mix trying to piece together the tracklist so hopefully others can go forth and find more stuff by all of the amazing artists on there. I think I got them all but apologies if I missed/messed up!

Trushmix 215 proudly presents Teknobusker Live at Globus/Tresor. A live recording of the legendary Teknobukser gig 23rd of September last year! The guys where invited by DJ Sotofett to play on one of his regular nights at Globus, where quality underground talent is presented.

The now familiar group Teknobuskers have been raving the tunnel's of Berlin with their distinctive danceable acid for years. And now it was sure time for the club! And they delivered! A talk of the town for a while, and now you can hear the recording on Trushmix! The concert consisting of the now departed founder SJ Tequilla on 303, together with his still active bandmates Aaty on EFX, Robotron on beats, 303 and sampler and the charismatic vocalist Nate!
