Tongue in cheek song, gender politics with a Bollywood ending.Great performances from Raina Mason, and also Birmingham based musicians Gurvir on tabla, Babar on Harmonium and Tony on Kettledrums, and Arsen on Duduk from Armenia. I loved crafting this epic. My daughter is on the front cover.

This is original but clearly came into my head based on years of Western interpretation/ depiction of traditional Chinese music.
I thought the mandolin served as a sympathetic medium underpinning the song. I used viola and violin to get the slurs....there is also uke slowly tickling away as well periodically. C
