As a huge fan of Disco, Funk, and Soul I have been experimenting a lot recently in terms of re-evaluating some absolute classics through the sphere of hard techno. This is not an attempt at cashing in on already established pieces of music but a means of paying homage to key parts of my own musical inspiration and opening those avenues of inspiration up to a whole new audience.

In this case, I gave the Candi Staton disco anthem "Young Hearts Run Free" a glitched-out dose of heavy industrialism, Enjoy!

This could be the biggest year yet for the young but successful underground West Coast techno label Crisis Of Man. This year alone we have seen them release the various artist compilation, with a whole heap of new names to add to their roster, and now they can add one of the UK’s most prolific and respected producers, Perc.

For those well versed within the underground movement of the last decade, Perc needs little introduction with early releases gracing CLR, Soma, and Kompakt, he soon after established his world-renowned Perc Trax imprint in 2004 with his debut single ‘Ice Cream For Kenton’. Now approaching nearly 100 releases, the label has been a pinnacle for many and a reference point for truly outstanding productions.

Kicking off 2022 with the first original music with his ‘Safe As Fuck’ single via Parisian rave culture imprint Possession, he now unleashes the heavy-hitting ‘Motork’ single, marking his debut on Crisis Of Man this June.
Perc doesn't mess around, and gets into it thick and fast, with driving kicks, slick percussion, and rip-roaring synth elements, that help to drive your mind into a world of its own whilst on the dancefloor. The heavily disturbing distorted vocal cuts throughout give this track some menacing effects that aren’t to be messed with.
