What’s that you’re carrying around there?
I see, a little briefcase full of regret 
Found at the station… $79.25 weekly pass never punched

A fellow rolls past me  past slowly on the train platform 
In a sky blue shirt on an electric scooter saying,
“Don’t come crying when you have something real to bitch about.”
He says it twice.

Flicks the roach to the curb
Goes back to his jack hammer to bust up a temporary concrete ramp

I’m a semi professional thinker.
I mean I never come up with anything.
I just grab a thought by the fifth leg and then let it drag me down where we need to go. 
And then I do my reporting along the way. 
You see, my eyes have no opinions.
Neither do my ears, really. 
We’re all very neutral.
Except I’ve got floaters in my eyes and I’m developing a cataract in one
I think my hearing is still pretty good
Mostly putting my fingers in my ears where in loud sounds abound
I’m a rockstar who never went on stage
And it was never deafened by his Marshall stacks
Everyone buys these fantastic amplifiers that they can only turn up 
12% of the way because they make such a tremendous volume of sound.

It's similar to certain New Thought and New Age beliefs, Native American-based practices of interpreting seeing an animal, reading Tarot and I-Ching.

International award-winning Australian electronic musician and composer, Jim Ottaway, has just released his new ambient/electronic album… INFINITE UNIVERSES. This album follows on from his well-received electronic album from 2022… SOMEWHERE IN-BETWEEN, and his international award-winning albums… WHEN ETERNITY TOUCHES TIME, DEEP SPACE BLUE and TIMELESS e-MOTION.

Jim says that INFINITE UNIVERSES is the next natural progression in his series of space ambient/electronic albums including THRESHOLD OF THE UNIVERSE (2021), BEYOND THE PURPLE SUN (2019), DEEP SPACE BLUE (2017) and SOUTHERN CROSS (2016).

Jim’s new album consists of nine (9) ambient electronic tracks all focusing on the beauty, wonder and complexities of the universe. The album also asks the question… “Could it be that our universe is just one part of a multitude of universes… an infinity of universes… a multiverse?”. An intriguing question, indeed.

I'm a very busy self employed piano teacher and music workshop facilitator for people with learning disabilities. I have been lucky enough to do this since moving  up to beautiful Scotland in late 2016 which is now my home. I love my job but work long hours and have found composing to be a great way to relax and it's something I have wanted to do properly for such a long time!

I've now  been making music since the start of lockdown, it gave me the time I needed to properly pursue it as a hobby, I now try and do it when I can on days off but wish I could devote more time to it again! My music is mostly ambient/chillout with inspirations of world music, folk, dance and prog thrown in! I also love film music too...hope you enjoy listening.
