Art Clandestine is based out of Washington DC – has been experimenting with electronic music since 1999. Originally under the guise of Finger Funk, Art developed his DJ persona, sharing a 4-by-4 progressive/tech house with breaks. His small but strong following lead his mixes to be shared throughout communities, such as Hybridized and NuSkoolBreaks. Clandestine’s production career kicked off on a collaborative project with Phrakture, called ‘Parasomnia’, and released on Phrakture's album ' Initiate Dream Sequence' (the revised 2015 version of the track was released later on RUNE). Not long after, Clandestine won Aeron Aether’s ‘Twilight’ remix competition, landing his first official release on Morphosis Records in 2010 - and swiftly following with additional releases on Morphosis, VIM Records, and Rune Recordings, later joining RUNE's management team.
