We've been big fans of Leftside Wobble's 'Acid Soul' series, so we are delighted to have him put together a mix for us. Here are some words from him regarding his mix for us:

"Leftside Classics is a retrospective featuring some of the tracks that have meant the most to me over the last five years or so. These are the tracks that somehow always find a way back into my sets, tracks that rise above the transient and tracks that defy limiting genre pigeonholes. My sets have always been about joining the dots, celebrating the eclectic and supporting those tracks that exist in the rich hinterland between dub, funk, disco and house. Hopefully this retrospective captures that overriding ethos.

I've included a small selection of unreleased LW bits and a few exclusive versions of well known staples to keep things pushing forward too.

"Walking around and seeing turtles, flamingos, and just enjoying the tropical climate of Mexico...there's something special about that because I'm from Norway and we just had snow two weeks ago.

This is a mix of my own material, most of the songs are rearranged or edited a little bit to work better in a live set context. I usually select some old songs, some new ones, and some unreleased material, then try different things in the live mix. I don't usually share my live sets because they don't feel as exciting to me after the fact, though they do feel really great when playing live."

The entire mix has been tuned to 432hz to bring the music into a natural vibration and assist in easing any frustrations you may currently be having. Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
