Almost two years ago I started the disco al dente podcast series to leave my footprint in the digital world when it comes to Italo Disco. After 7 guest mixes with beloved hosts, 10 gonzo tapes at disco al dente and over 250 different 5-star tracks, the bar for the next set was high. No need to worry - my motivation, dedication and the existing ammunition in the quiver is stronger than ever - after countless sleepless nights I proudly present an outsider mix that doesn't need to hide. Handpicked rarities of the past, which are still almost exclusively available on vinyl or come from dusty cassettes from the basement. A homage to Sanremo, a wink to France and a declaration of love to Argentina. "Le Post-Scriptum" combines everything that I understand as the definition of the holy grail of italo disco.

Tunesday Recordings proudly presents its third release, bringing the two balearic pop originals "Brazilian Breeze" and "Mysterious Nights" from the sought-after 1986 LP "Leaving You" by Preludio to today's dance floors. The Italo-influenced songs mark the very first work of Peter LaSalle who has made a name for himself with several releases under the moniker Sound Surgeons in the 2000's.

As a first endeavour under the moniker DNA (standing for Danny, Norm & Andres), the trio centered around Andres Astorga aka Trujillo brings out their own vsionary reworks with nothing but the songs' titles as inspiration. On "Brazilian Breeze", they dive deep into an ocean-blue rippling with cool synthesizer sequences and steel drums. "Mysterious Nights" teases you into a Linn Drum-driven adventure in which hazy waves mingle with late 80's guitar licks and soothing brasses.

A consummate record selector with impeccable taste, Andy spent many years as label manager for 2020 Vision Recordings before heading South to run R&S, a label at the forefront of electronic music for well over 20 years. Andy has had a pivotal role in steering some of its recent success stories in Lone, The Maghreban, Talabomen and Space Dimension Controller. Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
