HRDF: How did you discover the original track?
Kubebe: First time i discovered Art of Noise was on a cool popular compilation of synthesis music my father was listening when i was a kid. I was crazy with Moments of love, their most famous and so brilliant song, later I went through their discography and found this track, Legs, very special.

HRDF: Why did you choose to edit it ?
K: Vocal parts are really trippy, the song is really going in every senses what i like but i was thinking will be cool to make it more direct and a little bit slower, find arrangements with my FM keys to join every parts

HRDF: What is your relationship with the art of edit ?
K: It's my first edit actually, usually I write my own songs but i really like doing remixes, arranging, keeping the deep essence but bringing the track somewhere else, in function of your mood at the time.

HRDF: What are your expectations for the future ? What are you working on ? What do you dream to do as an artist ? 
K: I’m working on future solo EPs, one is more about slow disco with dub effects, the other is faster with proto house accents, few collaborations with nice and creative guys on the way. im also working a live show, with electronic and acoustic instruments, my first gig is in August

Clandestino - Beyond The Sun

Aura Safari & Jimi Tenor's sublime Sensory Blending album yields its first set of remixes on Hell Yeah as Balearic Beat dream team Reverso 68 aka Phil Mison and Pete Herbert serve up two mixes of Your Magic Touch.

Reverso 68 is the studio-based project of Pete Herbert and Phil Mison, and over the last decade-plus, they have mastered the art of making music for swimming pools.

Aura Safari & Jimi Tenor's original vision of 'Your Magic Touch' is a loved-up groove with golden chords and a killer funky bassline buried beneath the lush chords, horns and flute leads. It's perfect sundown music which gets dubbed out by Reverso 68. Their version is more low-slung and deep with a mid-tempo four-four groove sprinkled with tropical percussion. The muted chords are gloriously dreamy and the whole thing is perfect for early evening warm-ups.

Their second Reverso 68 remix is a little more upright and direct but still soundtracks an island escape where the skies are blue and the cocktails are cold. The mending bass soon hooks you in while the chords drift up top to soul-soothing effect.

Summer might be over, but the good times will live on with this superb trio of escapist jams.

Dream Chimney is excited to announce the release of “Ilha Espacial,” a captivating 6-track EP by the enigmatic producer Sasha Foam. Set to launch on November 25th, this sonic voyage blends balearic, techno, downtempo and acid elements into a hypnotic cosmic journey.

Sasha Foam, a renowned DJ, producer, and integral member of the TESTFM team as well as Night Lovers, has been steadily building a reputation for his distinctive sound and eclectic selections. With “Ilha Espacial,” he delves deeper into his experimental side, with a collection of six tracks that evoke feelings of interstellar exploration and late night introspection.

“Ilha Espacial” will be followed by a series of remixes from esteemed artists such as Hysteric, X.Y.R, Arsenii, and more. These reimaginations promise to further expand the sonic universe of the original EP, offering fresh perspectives and interpretations.

Dream Baby Dream's self-titled album on Hell Yeah back in summer yields its first set of remixes as Calm steps up with two new versions of 'Banana Trance.'

Leya Touch & soFa elsewhere aka Dream Baby Dream dropped a wonderful blend of occult synths and treated vocals, dubbed-out rhythms, cold wave, cosmic disco, dub and trance with their brilliant LP. It works in many different settings and now gets some special remix treatment from Japanese downtempo don Calm, who is a core part of the Hell Yeah family.

His expressive remix layers in some sleazy guitar riffs and more raw drums. The vocals are front and centre and soft acid lines are wired into the mix to make it more direct and dancey as psychedelic pads swirl all around. Then comes his dub which strips things back to big, cavernous drums, rippling cosmic synths and vamping chords that make for an epic trip. The original goa-filter madness of 'Banana Trance' is also included and is primed and ready to twist dance floors inside out and back to front.

These are two great new Calm versions of a still standout original from Dream Baby Dream.

For the third series of reworks by Marta we decided to bring back to life a song that we are very attached to with the addition of a drop in italo-classical style using one of the main synths of that period (D-50
Roland) more modern drums and a darker bass line to make everything more suitable for dancefloors but always remaining respectful of the original track ... a real gem!!

Reymour packed their bags in the pre-Alps of Switzerland and left to start a new life in Bruxelles. This debut album finds originates in this transition, again in a bilingual environment, by now a Knekelhuis theme. Leviosa documents the emergence of a kind of dance built from chansons, synthpop and cute minimal wave. Luc Bersier’s wide musical spectrum reaches great heights while staying small. He creates the musical bedrock on which Reymour’s cabinet of musical curiosities rests, allowing us to drift away on the unctuous fumes of Lou’s vocals. On these tracks she covers a wide array of feelings, of doubt, sexual orientation, play and melancholia. And it all comes together in the reflection of life. Close friend and family guy Low Bat contributes vocals and gameplay on 2 of the album’s tracks.

Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
