The sky was lit up brightly by an orb a million miles away. Deep in the dark and murky backdrop of space glowed a raging hot ball of fire known only as the Sun of Lemuria. It was a beautiful, god like blossom amidst the otherworldly darkness which swamped all else. Down on earth they observed the burning resolution from afar, worship it they did for it was what made plants grow, water run and the morning light when they awoke. 

Rigopolar is set to release a new EP on the newly formed imprint Nazca records, the label was founded in homage to the ancient Nazca people who loved to dance whilst celebrating nature and music.

The idea of a remix of Emmanuelle was in the air, we liked the idea to go deeper into the concept of this quite iconic character which has been exploited in so many different ways in literature and movies. 
Emmanuelle’74 refers to the original movie released in 1974. 
The cover art is inspired by Voyeurism, Los Angeles 1989, Helmut Newton
The burning man is also close and we were all excited preparing all our personal Transfinity merchandising completely hand crafted.
We spend time in the studio painting t-shirts and working on the new Emmanuelle release: this track meant to be our last release before the Burn, before going back home in the Playa.

After Rigopolar’s Greater EP, released on NAZCA last year, Los Suruba, presents this eighth release ‘Greater Ep, the remixes part 1’. A record where Rigopolar’s tracks ‘Greater’ and ‘The End (Of Eternity)’ are remixed by Santiago García, Luca Musto and MoM. You will be able to identify the particularities of these artists as well as their distinguished manners when it comes to creating new sounds. Rigopolar, originally from Mexico but established in Brooklyn is known to enrich his music production with cosmic sounds making Nazca Records very suitable for his style. The first remix of ‘The End (Of Eternity)’ comes by the hand Santiago Garcia, a beloved Argentinean producer resident in Spain that has impressed artists like Âme and Dixon with his elaborate sound display. Luca Musto’s version of ‘Greater’ is a playful one; the German artist mixes immersive vocals with metallic synths and soft chords. The last but not least MoM’s remix of ‘Greater’ is an intense track rich in circular sound waves that embrace you with every beat. Rigopolar Ft. Lampara - Greater (MoM Remix)

Brainchild of Multi Culti A&R, Sascha Funke and Niklas Wandt were introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the seasoned Berlin-based producer and funky multi-percussionist and singer. 

Wandt was just about to enter the scene forcefully with his collaborative 2LP with Wolf Müller and the debut single of his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icey cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, bowed and scratched percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These first efforts were later expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached it’s destination: Wibe strasse, Deutschland.

At first glance, they seem an odd couple: a techno veteran of almost thirty years meets a side-burned upstart socialized in Free Jazz and Krautrock. but the shared sonic influences come through in the hypnotic, dubbed-out sound, perhaps rooted in the close connection the two share to the Rheinland region in West Germany, Funke as part of the Kompakt family and Wandt by origin and socialization in the Cologne and Düsseldorf music scene centered around the Salon des Amateurs. Regional flavours, global appeal. Multi Culti, promoting local collaboration, one freaky record at a time.

Sascha Funke & Niklas Wandt - Die Säge [MC043]

Hamburg’s Mireia Records deals in high grade house music that is rich in deepness and melody; to date putting out music from Christopher Rau, Conga Fever, Marcus Worgull and Lauer. Their latest offing is a delectable EP from Johannes Klingebiel; a certified jazz drummer purveying tripped out warm sounds. ‘It’s OK To Cry’ features five cuts ranging in tenderness and atmosphere, each track showing off Klingebiel’s deep musicality. Here we premiere  ‘Time Is Now,’ a slow burning yet subtly euphoric number that elevates with percolating bass and glistening, spacey keys. Look out for more from Johannes soon on Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space label.

Big time! Did @acud pull these two catchy and slow tunes just out of his hat? Yes indeed, the man behind Berlin’s Keller label delivers two timeless tracks out of nothing and infects everyone within earshot. 
Nonchalent vocals and synths of „Der Gang“ make you instantly feel better even if you already felt good before listening.
„Immer So“ is pure love with a touch of melodrama. Super producer @aerrra picks up this feeling perfectly with a remix made for the floors of dance. Triple classic alert!

Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
