The "MEDUSA Ep" was released by Rodion on Roccodisco and contains two unique gems: "MEDUSA" and "SOLENOID". 
The tracks have now been reworked and dubbed by Alien Alien (the combo of Rodion himself and the DJ Hugosan). The relationship between Rodion and Alien Alien has been indefinable, ever since their "SAMBACA" anthem: osmosis, inspiration, metamorphosis. 
Here Alien Alien take Rodion's electronic glamour vision to a whole different level: slower, dirtier and even druggier. BPMs at around 100... 


MEDUSA - Caribbean Alien Alien dub 
With hypnotic vocals from DJs Pareja (Comeme/Turbo), the original anthem Medusa is fed to the darkest of Caribbean nights, where primitive cumbia, scary voodoo and tribal magic melt into one in a freaky dance ritual.

SOLENOID - Pluviale Alien Alien dub
The pluviale dub of Solenoid carries you into a wet and slow trip: a psychedelic moombaton piece originating from a forgotten sound system somewhere along the Amazon river . 

SOLENOID - Interstellar Alien Alien dub 
The interstellar dub of Solenoid lifts us up through obscure planets and nebulas: hypnotic cosmic dust waves, which ride the tightest of Alien grooves. 

This music is the sound of the mystic on the dance floor, where body and groove become one.

"Toe Sucker", the acoustic evidence that a lot of chefs can cook up something extra tasty indeed, even if the ingredients come from three different continents, as TUNNEL SIGNS, DAVID MARSTON and MAX SCHMITT bring them along from their hometurfs in Australia, America and Europe, with a little extra flavouring provided by Johannes Klingebiel. This is a track i wrote depicting the drive down a stretch of highway between Canberra & Braidwood. Its a pretty sad sight actually - one of the most dangerous places to be a wombat or kangaroo - with hundreds of them killed on that stretch of road every week. This one goes out to all those little wild fellas just trying to mind their business.

Leon Thomas - Song For My Father (Middle Sky Boom Edit)

Brainchild of Multi Culti A&R, Sascha Funke and Niklas Wandt were introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the seasoned Berlin-based producer and funky multi-percussionist and singer. 

Wandt was just about to enter the scene forcefully with his collaborative 2LP with Wolf Müller and the debut single of his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icey cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, bowed and scratched percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These first efforts were later expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached it’s destination: Wibe strasse, Deutschland.

At first glance, they seem an odd couple: a techno veteran of almost thirty years meets a side-burned upstart socialized in Free Jazz and Krautrock. but the shared sonic influences come through in the hypnotic, dubbed-out sound, perhaps rooted in the close connection the two share to the Rheinland region in West Germany, Funke as part of the Kompakt family and Wandt by origin and socialization in the Cologne and Düsseldorf music scene centered around the Salon des Amateurs. Regional flavours, global appeal. Multi Culti, promoting local collaboration, one freaky record at a time.

With previous releases on Optimo Music and Frank Wiedemann from Âme label Bigamo Musik,  "Im Tiefenrausch" is his second LP exploring melodic soundscapes, motorik beats and marked krautrock influences. Here we feature 'Blues Im Gepäck' from the LP. A rolling, downtempo groove. Rich in atmosphere and harmonic subtleties. Coming across not at all unlike an electronic Nick Cave record we think

Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit.
