Legendary Japanese electronic artist Takuya Sugimoto, also known as WEB, is back in business. During the 1990’s he released a lot of music with many aliases on labels such as Syzygy Records.

WEB’s musical territory was vast. His releases span a variety of genres, from Detroit Techno to Electro, Trip Hop to drum’n’bass. His most famous release is The EVA EP on Fat Cat Records. 

We haven’t heard any new music from WEB since the 2000’s. Last spring, after playing Jun Kamoda some of his unreleased tracks, WEB decided to release his new PRESENT EP to the world. We are so excited to release his music.

An imaginary journey from New York to Paris, based on one single session from Scharbatke with his new Studio Partner Jonathan Uhlig ended up in these piano - espresso - cafe mood kind of tracks. But with thick cigarette smoke and violent palpitations.

It all started with Love is only moments away... and of course no Idea how to run a label. Luckily a couple of crazy record sellers believed in our release. After a short time we were sold out...

Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
