"This mix tells the story of Spanish dentist Marcos. Set in the dystopian future of the year 2194 he starts out to Paris to visit the reunion concert of the legendary 20th century band Genesis. After meeting an unnamed Russian girl at a party he takes her with him to his hotel where they both get surprisingly busted by local police forces. After getting hit on the head Marcos gets feverish nightmares and wakes up to realize that the Russian girl has been killed. Still not knowing her name he marches out to unravel the mistery behind these events..."

The first various artist compilation series shows different views and
heartfelt stances on house music from CLÆP VISIONS artists around label head Ion Vulcan. Track A1 kicks it off with the hypnotic tribal influenced house stomper„Sonor“ by the producer and professional drummer Sischke. Its textures of soothing African voices in the back and a brilliant sounding dub chord making it perfect tool track. 
„I Don’t Sample“ (A2) is from Ion
Vulcan, a Berlin DJ and producer. This musical gem is based on an interview fragment from prince and is ironically hinting at the idea of sampling music. The funky house chords underline a fresh Detroit/Chicago feeling.
Arrived at the b-side (B1) Yot Nams little crowdpleaser „For You“ awaits
you. These housy chords are working well as a main theme. Electrically
generated, they evoke juvenile ease while pushin’ it relentlessly with a
soulful vocal, which provides the necessary thrill for the dancefloor.
B2 „Missing My Old Room“ is from producer, DJ and musician Jesus Moses. The shuffling beat, with its blooming arp sounds and melancholic choir is a musical beauty, inherits a deep desire and alludes to different aspects of house music.

A handful of international upcoming producers arranged their ideas for this exceptional remix version of Clap Visions Rec. last Various Artist E.P. CLÆP SHAPE VOL.1 released on Vinyl back in March 2019.
Justin Ramsey also known as a Berlin Bass Collective artist begins with an aesthetic house remix of Ion Vulcan’s original track „I Don’t Sample“ and is focused more on the dancefloor. His well-wrought signature sound comes with a powerful kick, which is enveloped from a rollin’ subbassline which provides the needful groove until an atmospheric pad slashs one’s way through it. The second track is from Matthieu Faubourg, who  released on labels like Smile For A While and STRCTR and worked intensively with DJ Boring and Black Loops. He varied Yot Nams „For You“ to a confidently stylish melancholic crowd-pleaser. A gentle kick, warm chords and a beautiful secondary melody with the greatest of musically ease. Yot Nam, one of the most talented artists of Clap Visions Records created an innovative remix for Jesus Moses Track „Missing My Old Room“. His powerful approach incorporates different influences of early nineties east coast hip hop, modern trap elements and tributes with it’s arpeggio synth hook a breeze of trance and techno.  Next is from Jeff Fader, Label head of Fade to Funk. He warmed up Ion Vulcans track „I Don’t Sample“ to an a well-established funky house number with fluffy percussion fills and emphasizes an easily accessible club vibe. Last one is from label head Ion Vulcan himself. He gives Sischkes original tribal influenced tool track  „Sonor“ another direction. With it’s vigorous driving toms in contrast to the airy house chords, changes the motion a bit after a short break and develops a synergic acid bassline, which leads into an elegiac number between house and techno.

Psycho & Plastic are determined to reintroduce a sense of wonder and adventure to both the dance floor and the home listening experience. Their new ambient album Placid House (May 8th 2020) focuses on the latter, deviating from the club-oriented releases of the previous year.

Recorded and produced in a mere three weeks after lockdown regulations took hold in their home Berlin, Placid House is an album of beatless ambient music made in and for these unprecedented times. Its eight instrumental tracks capture the essence of our trying times and transform it into sonic relief.

The growing number and diversity of Psycho & Plastic’s releases are testimony to their prowess as producers, composers, and performers. They won acclaim from international publications such as Data Transmission, Faze Magazin, DJ Mag Espana and others. In 2019, Psycho & Plastic’s music was championed by the late Andrew Weatherall in his last mix for BBC Radio 6 Music.
Trained musicians who have been working together for years, Alexandre Decoupigny and Thomas Tichai display stunning musicianship in their output. They also regularly tear up clubs and dance floors with rambunctious live sets of tripped out house and techno.
In true independent spirit, the duo operate their own label GiveUsYourGOLD, a home to Psycho & Plastic and a growing number of other artists and their nonconformist music.

We're so glad to get the electronic music producer duo Psycho & Plastic for our UR NOT ALONE mix series.  With this mix they presenting a familiar selection with ambient influenced music from a dozen of friends. Enjoy this relaxed sunday mood, get a sensitive touch and let your body be gold.

Ezrael, is a Nuremberg based DJ/Producer/Promoter. His sound is usually pretty organic and influenced by house/nu-disco/wave/breaks/afrohouse.  In 2019 he had his first official release on vinyl together with AuztinPauers at Kompost Records on Mr Raoul K's EP African Paradigm ll . In Nuremberg he C-runs a few event series like xylotrip, alles samt, volcano pwussy, Disko Jakuzzi, Straat 264. When he plays you’ll really never know what kind of set he’s going to play. Its always a suprise. 
For UR he recorded a set with it he wanted to bring U from the sad quarantine routine into a brighter mood. Well Done!
