DJ Whipr Snipr is an uncut gem in the house and techno scene of Australia, who now resides back on home soil, the state of Queensland, after an extended stint in Germany.

Christopher Mcivor, spent the good part of two and a half years running parties and playing venues all over Berlin including the likes of Sisyphos and Griessmuehle. It is here where he also threw label parties as the founder of globally renowned imprint, Nerang Recordings.

Recently, DJ Whipr Snipr has performed mixes for HÖR, Slothboogie, Beatport, and Rinse France. His releases and performances span lo-fi house, nu-disco, acid house and experimental techno, with flexibility that rivals a Whipr Snipr.

Mcivor could be seen cutting the grass throughout Europe including runs in Russia,Turkey, France, Poland, and United Kingdom where he has supported acts such as Chaos In The CBD, Felipe Gordon, DJ Swagger, TV.OUT, Interplanetary Criminal and many more.

With more releases and new projects in the works, Australia is lucky to have this expat back in our backyard.

This year they were spotted at Moscow Birds Meadow Festival Of Electronic Music and Crimean Sensimo sharing decks with Sebastian Koch, Benjamin Fehr, Easy Changes, Sander Cast, Pachyderme, Strukturator, Lenique, Monogum, Lega and other techno music dons from CIS and Western Europe.

Manning the greens by day and the decks by night... That's the life that greenkeeper and self-proclaimed digital warrior Dj Whipr Snipr leads.

One of the many great electronic music exports to come from down under in recent years, Gold Coast hailing DJ and producer Christopher Mcivor has put his name on the global map with his Nerang Records imprint. 

Running for five years, the imprint has been a space for electro, garage and ghetto tech variations, that balance the fast and the furious with the sweet and sultry.

It's been a platform for Chris' own productions but also for an extensive roster of artists from across the globe, including Interplanetary Criminal, Dj Swagger, J.Albert and so many more. This also includes music from his other project which is a hefty departure from his dance music activities. He's no one trick pony, when he's not producing tight, atmospheric electro and UKG, find him screaming down a mic with his heavy metal punk band Friction Control.

On today's mix Chris takes it from 0 to 100 over the course of two hours. He floats from blissed out electronics to sweet RnB edits, warm, shuffling garage and hard 'n nasty electro cuts, with a whole lot of Nerang business thrown in there too...
