About a year on since their last incursion on the label, acclaimed German duo Township Rebellion resurface on Stil vor Talent with a fresh new three-tracker, right on cue for the busy festival season ahead. Titled "Doppler" after the EP's eponymous lead-track, this new effort also comprises two previously released cuts remastered to further compelling effect, bound to make quite the impact on the dance floor with their all new, fully revitalized sound design. Music to sync your brainwaves and jack your body to, unremittingly. 

As per each occurrence, Township Rebellion show themselves eager to take over the clubs' sound systems with optimum style and firepower, and "Doppler" sure attests to their inimitably floor-efficient approach. The lead single "Doppler" is no stranger to Township Rebellion's signature blends, flush with tribal-infused motifs, peak time cliff-hangers and thunderous outbursts all set against a progressive epic of soaring synths and skull-crushing kick drums. Dwelling the interzone between pure big-room banger territories and unpredictable drifts into wider, open-ended electronic realms, their music eschews classification, forever that nomad sound roaming the confines of DJ functionality and frame-breaking otherworldliness. 

Both presented in sharper-than-ever remastered versions, "Baud" and "About A Tribe" makes for perfect contrapuntal companions to the electrifying, broad scale epic that is "Doppler". An ominous call rallying all souls eager to sail off onto higher raving spheres, "Baud" leaves no stone unturned in its machiavellian plan to merge all dancers in one throbbing mass of energy. Meanwhile, "About A Tribe" showcases the pair's intuitive attraction towards mystique-imbued folk music and polyphonic rhythms, infusing that soulful melodic search into a blazing maelstrom of hi-tech electronic engineering, piano-house addiction and wistful, post-trancey hypnosis that will have you climbing the stairs of euphoria on your hands thru and thru.

Mit WAAGENBAU verabschiedeten wir uns von einem Club, der für uns nicht einfach nur ein Ort war – sondern ein Wohnzimmer und ein Treffpunkt.
Wir haben den Waagenbau nicht nur bespielt, sondern teilweise gelebt. Im Studio sowie auf dem Däääncefloor.
Dieser Track ist unser Versuch, den alten Waagenbau-Sound noch einmal aufleben zu lassen – roh, energetisch, treibend. Aus Liebe zum Gewölbe. Unser kleines Danke an einen großen Laden.
Mit diesem Release verabschieden wir uns von einem Ort, der uns geformt hat – mit fetter Kickdrum, bröckelndem Bass und einer Prise melancholischer Reverb-Zauberei.

👁️‍🗨️ „Waagenbau“ ist ein emotionaler Throwback, aber auch eine Klangkapsel für das, was uns verbindet:
Freundschaft. Freiraum. Und ein Ort, der viel mehr war als nur vier Wände mit Anlage. Denn: Clubs schließen. Aber Herzbeben bleibt.
🖤 Für die Nächte, in denen die Kick nicht nur durch den Magen ging, sondern durchs Herz.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. We look forward to seeing what they come out with next!

Solvane's activities are moved by passion. Keeping his style versatile and emotional allowed him to play the big stages around the globe; from Burning Man Festival to Fusion, from European capitals like London, Paris and Istanbul to Australia, Asia and the USA. The connection to his chosen home Berlin is alive and kicking: he not only plays regularly at his Ritter Butzke residence but also has been creating tracks that have been supported by top league acts like Claptone, Kollektiv Turmstraße and Acid Pauli.

In 2016 Solvane reached the Top 20 Electronica Charts on Beatport for the first time, and since then his tracks have been consistently honoured with top rankings. After several singles and EPs on labels like ‘Light My Fire’ and ‘Ritter Butzke Studio’, he moved on to Oliver Koletzki's label Stil vor Talent’. Sit back and familiarise yourself with a producer you will hear more frequently about as the months roll by. Solvane deals in smooth rolling house and techno with just the right amount of emotion, a feature that is highlighted in this excellent mix.
