To close out the month of November, and welcome December, we would like to showcase the sound and style of a skillful DJ/Producer from the depths of Italy, Antony Colanardi. Having started to passionately devote himself to House music at just the age of 15, Colanardi began his journey well over eleven years ago. When asked to describe his sound, Antony voiced, " I like characterizing my sound as redefined, because I am always looking for new emerging artists and labels proposing fresh sounds that spark my own inspiration. I tend to focus my attention on those who produce the music I play in the clubs, so that includes, but is not limited to: deep house, house and also dub-techno music." Born in Lanciano, Italy, where there was a big boom in the 90's, followed by a large pause in the world of clubbing; dance music and culture seemed to have disappeared. However, recently some up and coming independent labels and parties have given birth to a new age of music, bringing back the lost culture. Currently, BPM Music Club is one of the most important clubs in that area, as it has given Antony, and many other local DJs the chance to play with an abundance of well known artists worldwide. When asked where he sees himself in five years, Colanardi responded, "I'm not sure, but I would say Berlin is my coveted destination." And lastly, what asked what is to be expected of Mr. Colanardi in 2016, he remarked, "Life is unforeseeable, I can exclude nothing, but we can conclude I currently do not have big plans, but I will continue to make my own music, and try to achieve my future goals, step by step.
