A name that breathes, a voice that whispers and howls in soliloquy. Collecting the echoes that follow—field recordings from Colombia, murmured poems, the spectral songs of birds—she stitches together a sonic diary, an audible thread between past and present.

Like the shifting landscapes of Colombian magical realism, she bends nature as memory bends truth. From this alchemy arises Un Pensiero Intrusivo: seven folk incantations, captured live in Cagliari, Italy.
A new genre, steeped in something unnameable—a haunted flamenco, spectral invocations, a piano unmoored from time.

The air thickens, the horizon tilts. A slow descent into vertical tropics, where distant sensibilities collapse into a single, hypnotic pulse.

‘vii’ a live improvisation from March 8, 2024, performed at Doyenne’s Night, hosted by Ormside in London. 

Recorded in one take, 'vii' arrives ahead of the full 10-track LP release, SUSTAINED - a new collaborative dialogue between Ekaterina Bazhenova-Yamasaki and Maria Gorodeckaya. 

Drawing upon a collection of memories and discussions concerning rituals, yokyoku, birth, interpersonal challenges, spiritual connection, as well as themes of heartbeats and heartbreaks. The project’s original soundscape is composed of field recordings from China and Japan, integrated with analog live recordings created by Ekaterina and subsequently reworked and developed into an album through a collaborative process with Maria.

L’émission musicale à destination des curieux, des rêveurs, des musiciens, des danseurs, des geeks, des hippies, et tous les autres ... consacrée à la braindance, l’ambient, et toutes les formes d’électro, break et techno expérimentale.
« Ce mercredi, on va être dans un registre assez particulier de la braindance. On va être dans l’univers du funk, du groove, de la complexité, il faut être bien accroché, ou peut être au contraire, bien détaché, se laisser faire. Savourer le son. Des basses saccadées et groovys, des mélodies synthétiques, et des sonorités futuristes, le tout sur une structure imprévisible.
Pour moi, c’est un des aspects caractéristiques de la musique de Juno Club, ce groove, ce funk et ce refus de laisser les boucles tourner trop longtemps . Pour moi Juno Club c’est de la pure braindance, de la musique complexe, qui t’incite à finalement lâcher prise et passer outre le fait qu’on n’arrive pas à anticiper ce qui va arriver ensuite, se laisser surprendre et se laisser porter par le délie et l’ambiance générale,dans toute la compléxité, des motifs vont revenir, une boucle va parfois attirer votre attention et se répéter un nombre suffisant de fois, mais pas trop, pour vous faire entrer dans une transe cérébrale. »

After completing their first album FIELD REPORTS for Moving Furniture Records, Philipp Bückle and Martijn Pieck went straight into the production of their second album. 

While FIELD REPORTS was an exploration of various fictitious urban scenarios, the goal for the second album was to be even less musical without losing the narrative thread in the tracks. And while the production progressed, the feeling of being lost in stormy weather, overwhelmed by the breeze occurred on several occasions. 

So A STORM IS ANY DISTURBED STATE OF AN ENVIRONMENT seemed to be a good headline for these new creations. The little melodic fragments of the first album were lost completely for a more droning and noisy approach. Field recordings, FM manipulations and white noise became the most dominant elements. The album consists of six different sonic environments that are soothing and disturbing at the same time. 
After the album received a digital-only release by Whitelabrecs in 2023, Shimmering Moods Records now offers a limited physical edition on CD.
