Rising Argentine talent Grees makes his debut on NoZzo Music with an impressive three-track offering featuring a remix from Martin Occo on 'My Tennis Shoes'.

Rosario based DJ/Producer Grees is making strides within the world of Tech House, and we are delighted to welcome him to the label for the first time with two striking dancefloor heaters. Grees is also joined by European Tech talent Martin Occo for a standout remix on the title track.

'My Tennis Shoes' kicks off the EP with a firm hand. Deep and rolling grooves built from weighty kicks and endless percussion create a rippling momentum throughout the track whilst subtle melodies continue to rise amongst twisted vocal chops in the background.

Martin Occo follows the title track with a signature spin of his own. Upbeat driving Tech drums and fizzing hat sequences marry up with pulsating sub-bass as an array of shots and fills add more character. Climactic builds and piercing drops break up a record that will have you dancing from end to end.

'Khia's Bedroom' brings the release to a close, cutting a more stripped back and underground line. Another heavyset roller, its prominent low-frequency rumble paves the way for a shuffling concoction of instruments to add movement to the mix. Its fine layer of melodic eeriness blends in and out of a catchy vocal hook throughout, whilst the main bulk of the record comes at you thick and fast.

If Europe needed any extra heat right now, BizZa is the man to get Fahrenheit freaking out with the dancefloor vitamins and minerals of the ‘Bussy’ EP. The Madrid producer is fast becoming one of Clarisse’s household names, a list of admirers lengthening release by release, show by show, as he puts his own twist on deep and funky house that Jamie Jones, Steve Lawler, Loco Dice, Marco Carola and Stacey Pullen have given thumbs up to.
 
With the slightly squelchy, scratchy title track, BizZa gets down to business by deploying the sort of twitching energy that can only be good for bodies to dancefloor ratio. Working to a fairly slim beats and bass blueprint with just the right amount of jack-ready electricity running through it, ‘Bussy’ gets you loose with a laser-like focus that locks on and won’t let go.

An R&B vocal frazzled from into the future takes centre stage on ‘The Only One’, a mad scientist’s mix of ultra deep house, coolly constructed from push-me-pull-you gadgetry, where BizZa turns the dancefloor into an obstacle course. Subtle, ear-catching fizzes, whooshes, studio froth and stutters - all set to a classic Clarisse up-down groove – is a third BizZa bonanza putting other tracks in the shade.
 
As BizZa starts playing with effects like he’s twiddling for the perfect station on the FM dial, the pleasantly acidic ‘Afile’ gets clubbers all in formation. Refreshing the parts that other tracks cannot reach, again with a slightly itchy undercurrent, dizzy spells and vocal announcements to both spook and energise the crowd, are as if BizZa has twiddled his way into the Twilight Zone. End result? Radars running hot all over.

Los Angeles-based talent Gabriel Rojas delivers the next release on Unnamed & Unknown with his ‘Come Up’ EP.

Following well-received releases on Tech Avenue Records, Safari Groove, Habitat and many others, Los Angeles local Gabriel Rojas drops an impressive solo EP titled ‘Come Up’ on Portuguese Tech House imprint Unnamed & Unknown.  

Opening with the title cut, ‘Come Up’ kicks things off with a wave of rolling rhythms and flagrant percussive flair. A driving sub-bass melody steers the track forwards through a sea of punchy kicks, rippling percs and catchy vocal chops to carve out an upbeat terrace-ready bomb primed for peak time dancefloors. 

‘Rumba’ follows, bringing more energetic grooves and percussive-heavy prowess from the outset. Another pulsating sub-bassline urges the track forwards amongst several playful breaks, vocal runs and creative fills as it ebbs and flows along to the track’s driving persona, carving out another club-ready weapon geared for packed-out parties.

The release closes on a Dub Mix of ‘Rumba’, stripping out its predecessors’ vocal elements and providing a creatively potent alternative tool.
