A cross-European collaboration brings major credentials to the turntables for Clarisse's 79th run for the sun. Spain's Tyler Coey has collected recognition from Marco Carola and Dennis Ferrer in taking over home dancefloors one by one, and Italy's Francesco Romano has repped a host of hometown imprints, topped by NYC's world famous Nervous Records. When both are let off the leash, 'Let 'M Run Off' is the groove-filled result.

The funkiest of nutty, bouncy, bubbly bassline loops defies you to stand idly by - once it pops it can't be stopped. Clipped beats and, in keeping with recent Clarisse styling, hip-hop samples, have Coey and Romano bringing Big Apple rap boasts in and out of the mix that deliver directions as soon as possible. Wrapped with a breakdown bringing everything to the boil, 'Let 'M Run Off' infectiously puts limbs to work.

LUCASMB - Back All That [RAWCUTS002]

Techords' 10th release comes from David Museen and NastyFunk Records' boss Erik Christiansen. Having released their collaborations on well known labels like Kittball, Great Stuff Recordings, Be One Records, Formatik and Daylight Robbery Records amongst others, David and Erik make their first appearance to Techords with the strong 'Couldny Danse' EP.

Opening things up is title track 'Couldny Danse', where David and Erik create a pulsating groove with the powerful techy drums and bassline. A well placed enormous synth announces the upcoming drops right before the vocal sample is being added to rock the dancefloor. Next up is the b-side 'Real Rave' track, which continues to showcase the duo's ability on how to create a fantastic groove. The tribal drums work smoothly with the repetitive but effective bassline and short synths, while the male vocals give the track a nice afro touch, rounding off the EP with a bouncy production.

Originating from Marseille in France, Julien Nerani and Anthony Fonseca pka Chicks Luv Us team up with fellow French DJ/producer duo Yungness & Jaminn to deliver their debut 'This & That' EP on Leftwing : Kody's Lost Records this autumn. 

A near 15-year journey together fuelled by the intertwining values of passion, persistence and most importantly, friendship, Chicks Luv Us and Yungness & Jaminn have between them released on some of the most established labels in the industry, including Desolat, VIVa, Lapsus, Brock Wild, Material, Relief and Repopulate Mars which have seen support from heavyweights Sven Vath, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Paul Kalkbrenner and Adam Beyer, to name a few. 

The 'This & That' EP reflects each duo's signature sound comprising of a release packed full with crisp drums, energetic percussion, dark, rumbling basslines, grooving low-end, percolating rhythms and catchy, chopped vocal loops. Enjoy!
