Die faszinierende Myrna aka Madmoiselle vom Wdlnds-Kollektiv dürfte einigen unter uns definitiv ein Name sein. Ihr Sound, der sich irgendwo zwischen Indie Dance und Disko bewegt, ist süchtig machend und sprichwörtlich eine Formel, die überall funktioniert.

Für unsere Nummer 296 hat Myrna aber etwas ganz spezielles, nämlich afterhourmässiges eingespielt. Irgendwo zwischen Leichtigkeit und Entspannung lässt sich ihre knapp einstündige Reise aus dem Bereich des verspuhlten Downtempo einordnen. Zeitlos und im Grunde klassischer Afterhour Sound den sie uns hier präsentiert. Paßt hervorragend in die wilde Vorweihnachtszeit. Und macht Lust nach mehr.

✔️ Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein musikalischer Hintergrund?

Musik im klassischen Sinne hat schon seit meiner Kindheit eine große Rolle gespielt. Von verschiedene Instrumenten und Musiktheorie über Kammerorchester,  Gesangsunterricht und Chor bis zum Musikabitur. 
Ich bin in Berlin aufgewachsen und ab meinem 18. Geburtstag war ich dabei die verschiedensten Festivals, Clubs und Sounds zu exploren. 

2021 durfte ich meinen ersten Gig spielen und seitdem geht meine musikalische Suche weiter - ich trenne meinen Podcast und meinen Gig-Sound :)
Daher hier etwas weihnachtlich-winterlich gemütliches <3 


✔️ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Gute Freunde, gute Gespräche und gute Musik. Ein schöner Ort, an dem man sich wohl fühlen kann. Ein safe space. 
Früher Sekt, jetzt alkoholfreies Bier :)


✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Für mich ist die Vorweihnachtszeit, geprägt von gemütlichen Lichtern, kuscheligen Decken, Chai Latte und einigen emotionalen Gedanken. 

Das vergangene Jahr reflektieren - das neue Jahr vorbereiten. Loslassen - Vorfreude auf das Neue schüren. 
Das möchte ich auch in meinem Podcast Wiederspiegeln.

I’m closing 2024 and welcoming 2025 with this set I recorded at the New Year’s afterparty. It’s not my best mixing (yes, there are a few bumps 😅), but I decided to upload it anyway because it captures something special: the playful energy and incredible vibes that kicked off this new year.
Surrounded by friends and so much love, it felt like the perfect start. 💖

If you want to practice this skill, Nɨxe’s set is a rich playground opportunities; full of wondrous sights and twists and turns. Through depth and highs, sometimes bold and in your face and sometimes tickling you from behind, it is a journey through different strata, contexts and epochs of slow, electronic dance music. However, while exploring the landscape, it never fails to keep an eye on the dance floor to get you heart jumping, your face smiling and your hips gyrating. If you want the full experience, set aside, what you’ve been doing, listen, turn up the volume a little and drop into yourself to feel those feelings. And don’t worry: nobody said you shouldn’t dance while doing so.

Jedes mal wieder ein Abenteuer, wenn wir drei uns sehen. Das passiert zwar nicht so oft, wird aber jedes mal episch unvorhersehbar.

Nach einer schönen Zeit beim Skalar Festival im Juni haben wir uns sehr gefreut wieder die lieben Leute zu treffen und die Festival Vibes im Kater Blau aufleben zu lassen!

Komplett spontan mit ohne Plan in dieses Set gestartet, es wurde zu einer swaggy Reise mit trolligen Einschüben, eine farbenfrohe Symbiose von drei Herzen.
Die Leute hätten nicht sweeter sein können, wir haben viel gelacht, getanzt und quatsch gemacht :D
Der Kuckuck durfte auch spontan länger aufbleiben – mehr Zeit zum sheeshen <3

Wie eine frische Brise ausm Palmengarten wedeln uns heute @ener-stelzenlaeufer konstant stabile Downtempo Vibes in die Ohren.

Von leichtem Südwind - laid back und wohlig warm - bis zu Böhen bei denen einem glatt die Salakfrucht vom Hirnstamm purzelt servieren die beiden liebevoll Sound um sich richtig wegtragen zu lassen - Hauptsache es gefällt!

It was that time of the year, when the days were short and there was speak of the new year, when she felt that the worlds of the living and the dead were particularly close together. She could more easily shift forms, times and spaces and, in that process, could carry with her more of her magic than usual. 
It was in this space that she felt so blessed with love for all beings and non-beings on Earth that she wanted to brew a special spell to be sent out into the worlds on the eve of the new year. She used the best ingredients: all of her favourite tracks that express the full spectrum of love and emotion. She put them together and sent them out with intention, so that the next year would be filled with a bit more love for everyone. 

It was wonderful starting the new year with the lovely Lush crew @dualism, and the wonderful @eve1-lyn, @matijasound, @rkjvk. And not to forget my love @ditolove!
