Started as a laptop experiment, which quickly got jibbed after the first self released EP ' Let It Be'. 

beards and years passed and i now making solo electronic experiments again using only feedback loops, fuzz, casio, drumachines, delay and a loop pedal.  

no laptops, no computers.

The name is taken from a conversation around the time Abu Hamza al-Masri was first arrested at the top of our road in London and he was referred to in a Hackney Gazzett as a Local and Favored  Muslim imam in the area. I liked the sound of the phrase and repeated it to my friend Ali when he described himself as a Good ordanary Muslim, i replyed, You Are My Favourite Muslim. he chuckled.

Behold Finders Keepers, a British record label, 40 years in the making, introducing fans of psychedelic, jazz, folk, funk, avant-garde and whacked-out movie musak to a lost world of undiscovered vinyl artifacts from the annals of alternative pop history.

Catering to record collectors and DJ-producers alike with a huge emphasis on sample friendly soundscapes, rocksteady back-beats and primitive electronic experimentalism. Discerning purveyors of the bizarre and abnormal should expect the Japanese choreography records, space-age Turkish protest songs, Czechoslovakian vampire soundtracks, Welsh rare-beats, bubblegum folk, drugsploitation operatics, banned British crime thrillers and celebrity Gallic Martini adverts... presented on CD, 7" and traditional black plastic discs in authentic packaging.

Following in the very same footsteps as the mind boggling "Music To Watch	Girls Cry" and "Songs In The Key Of Death" mix CDs for Fat City Records and the original 5-star rated Finders Keepers compilation LP in 2001, Manc-based vinyl-vulture, recording artist and record producer Andy Votel enlists the skills of fellow B-Music DJ and Rare Disc Detective Doug Shipton to form a team of psychedelic librarians and cosmic-pop-quiz-elitists to run their new Twisted Nerve distant sister-label, leaving no progressive pebble unturned or record collection un-rifled.

Future compilations and re-issues will feature collaborative curators such as David Holmes, Cherrystones and Bob Stanley and further contributions from mystery A- / B+ pop-celebrity fanatics of outsider music and ultra-rare bakelite discs. Finders Keepers is an 'accidental world music label' with a punk aesthetic and DJ friendly ethos which allows the desperate listener to sit back while we deliver schizoid cultural channel-hopping compilations and rocking-horse-shit & hen's-teeth re-releases to the comfort of your psych-starved living room...

STIG NOISE tho..  Hmmm, long & far scattered... Their is however a studio in a 173 year old former dockers pub on the mouth of the River Mersey/Irish Sea with a plaque that reads "... all stigs welcome." :) 

Around 1998 i, Jacobia Stig, ( hello! ) and 2 friends , Ged Fox & Sigh Stig formed a power trio and called it Stig for a gig on the Oxford Rd, in Reading below a chipshop. By around  2007 and active up until around 2014,  the band  had evolved & grown into an 7,8,9 sometimes 10 piece touring band, of increasingly maverick people & musicians called Stig Noise Sound System. 

Since the mid 2000s we  were lucky enough to be invited, travel to and meet amazing people, musicians & organisers in over 15 countries, and play hundreds and hundreds, of shows within the music communities of UK & Europe Mainland. 

We prepared and built bits of our own instruments and forged unusual set ups and sounds, we recorded our own records in spaces we built our own studio's to avoid growing rents, ran the rehearsal rooms as ibdipendent venues ( Don't / Do Drop the Dumbulls/bells), we booked our own tours and existed happily without getting to involved in the mess that is the music industry.

The individuals , around 20 or so, that made Stig Noise  over the last 17 years are all out in the world and  continue to create music and/or simply be sound & talanted, a strange breed of humans.
