Mikael Johnston is directly responsible for over a dozen Billboard top 40 hits including nine top 10s. Past collaborations include Blondie, Jane's Addiction, Static-X, Sleep Party People, Hostel (movie), Lily Allen, Dresden & Johnston, Nadia Ali, Mephisto Odyssey, The Crystal Method, Los Amigos Invisibles, I Am The World Trade Center, The Sounds, Goapele, DJ Toure (Hieroglyphics), Oh No & Chris Keys, Enrique Iglesias, Beats Electronics (Beats by Dr. Dre), Universal Music Group, Warner Bros., and Capital Records among many others.

Self proclaimed as "The Shite Beatles of Brixton", The Mega Myths were as famous for their bad music as they were for their bad behavior; often getting arressted during shows, stealing congress tarts and punching grocers. 

This account is an archive of past albums, EPS, demos and other material that has survived from the Lemon Estate.

San Francisco dance music pioneer Mikael Johnston (Mephisto Odyssey, Dresden & Johnston) & progress house producer / DJ extraordinaire Noel Sanger have teamed up for a brand new collaboration. Mikael pioneered the nascent San Francisco house scene of the early 90s leading his band Mephisto Odyssey to a major label deal with Warner Bros. Records. He has remixed, produced and written for artists such as Jane's Addiction, Enrique Iglesias, Smash Mouth, Lilly Allen, Nadia Ali, and most recently, Blondie. Noel Sanger has toured with Tiesto and has remixed artists such as Erasure, Nadia Ali, John Taylor of Duran Duran, Matt Darey, Soul In The Machine and Soundprank. He also has seen his share of hit singles including the mega-hit "Perfect", co-produced Markus Schulz. He's had releases on Spinnin', Mute Records, Nervous Records and High Contrast and also brought his Midas touch to this project. They have formed Starstruck; a production team coming out of the gate in full force with their debut Pop EDM offering, “STAND UP." Their prowess shines through in this track with perfect, dance radio-friendly melodies, arrangements and instrumentation, all decorated by the sweet and powerful vocals of theatrical newcomer, Natalie Hawkins. "Stand Up" is the first of three singles to be released duo, each tune promising to be more compelling than the last.

Pop Twist Records was created in 2019 by Mikael Johnston; founder of the late 90s early 2000s Warner Bros. Records electronic act Mephisto Odyssey. The label's focus is on helping independent artists get their music properly distributed and promoted. While our emphasis is on all genres of EDM, we are open to releasing any genre if we like it.
