The inspirational artist known as Classy comes from Charlotte, North Carolina. He wrote his first verse at the age of 6. A talented lyrical genius, he has been categorized as an evolved mixture of Andre 3,000 and Jay-Z. He cites his main influences as the hip-hop artists he spent his childhood listening to. He has perfected his skills as a rapper by entering rap battles, claiming his first victory on his very first attempts.
 
While at Western Carolina University studying Business Law he worked as Station Manager of Western Carolina’s TV62. The broadcasting industry influenced the growth of his brand Pocket Protector, a brand that advocates the amelioration of class.
 
After graduating from undergrad, he began his M.B.A. in an effort to enhance his business skills. At this time, he is still attending and concentrating his efforts on his music career. He launched his own mixtape and created the brand Pocket ProTecToR. The buzz around this new talented rapper started to build and influential music industry insiders are fine tuning his vision into the correct direction.
 
Classy has continued to grow as an artist and he has been working with producers including Billy Banks and Erik G. He is enlisting into the coast to coast mixtape exhibition. Classy continues to use music to express his innovative music movement. Welcome, to the future…. The future is Pocket Protector!!!!!!
