If ever there was an artist the world needed new music from as it makes its return to the dancefloor it would be Catz ‘n Dogz. The Polish duo continue to build their steadfast reputation as purveyors of club-ready beats with their third EP on DFTD ‘No Regrets’, a two tracker certain to prick the ears of in-the-know selectors. Diasporic dance duo Dave + Sam present their follow-up single ‘Not The Same’, hot on the heels of previous Classic single ‘Just A Man’. The two established artists joined forces back in 2016, bursting onto the scene with unique tracks that combine hip hop and other rhythmic genres with modern house sensibilities and outside-the-box thinking. Working closely with Classic, the New York and Los Angeles based artists quickly established a signature Dave + Sam feel and continued to impress tastemakers worldwide with their subsequent releases. For this latest release, ‘Not The Same’, the pair deliver a more minimal outing, focusing on addictive repeated lyrics that carry a stoic bravado while electronic pulses twist the track into something much darker.
