Pacey yet deep. 'Opus' channels soulful vocals, skippy percussive rhythms, sprightly synth chords and hard-funking bass. JC's Vocal Mix lets the sweet vox take centre stage, with a stripped-back version coming in the form of Hodges' Dubtool. New Jersey pioneer DJ Dove provides a killer remix, with undulating, queasy, booming bass tones snaking under hard-hitting drums, big snare roll-driven breaks and a dash of techno intensity.
