“It’s just really interesting to get up close and see the expressions and the wonderful acting that these performers are capable of," says Kevin Puts, describing the experience of seeing his opera, "The Hours," on screen. The production will air at 8 pm on Friday, March 17th on PBS's "Great Performances at the Met" series on KERA. Kevin joined Amy Bishop to talk more about his composition process for the work, based on the 1998 novel by Michael Cunnningham.

“It’s such a special ensemble because it carries on the legend of the great jazz pianist, Dave Brubeck, led by two of his sons," says Kira Goidel, the Artist Experience Manager at Windmills Craftworks in The Colony.
