Our family has been through a lot over this past year with the loss of my Dad and a few other family members…. and I know it’s been a journey for many of you, as well. My name is Jackie Perks and I am a classically trained pianist and composer.  To me, music is fantasy and also the greatest universal language that transcends space and time. Here I showcase all of my original works, which are a combination of raw improvisations and structured pieces.  People tell me that my music is a fusion of classical, jazz/blues, and sometimes with a New Age or cinematic sound and that it inspires and relaxes them. Music to me is essential, just like the air we breathe and I love to free my emotions by playing my piano and composing the music that I have heard playing in my head since I was 4 years old. In addition to my originals, you will also find classical pieces here that I have arranged myself.  In June of 2015, I was discovered on YouTube and one of my improvisational covers was used in an HBO Documentary. To see me playing live, please visit my YouTube channel.
