The space probe Voyager was launched in 1977 and was the first spacecraft to cross the heliopause and enter the interstellar medium. At a distance of 22.2 billion km (13.8 billion mi) from Earth it is the most distant man-made object from Earth. Voyager carries a gold-plated audio-visual disc should the spacecraft ever be found by intelligent life with photos of the Earth, a range of scientific information, spoken greetings in 55 languages and a medley of earth sounds including the sounds of whales, a baby crying, waves breaking on a shore, and a collection of music.

My arrangement of this traditional Irish ballad which translates as 'The Cursed Kerryman" and sung so beautifully by  Seamus O Beaglaoich and others.  
I've tried hard not to smother the lovely melody and let the Taran guitar do the singing... Tuning is DADGAD
