Flamenco is a form of Spanish folk music and dance from the region of Andalusia in southern Spain. It includes cante (singing), toque (guitar playing), baile (dance) and palmas (handclaps). First mentioned in literature in 1774, the genre grew out of Andalusian and Romani music and dance styles, Flamenco is often associated with the Romani people of Spain (Gitanos) and a number of famous flamenco artists are of this ethnicity.

The solo is all improvised...but just trying out my new cordoba...loving it.

I literally did this the night I bought that Cordoba, just for fun, in like 30 minutes max with garageband and my zoom h4n at the time. 

I'm truly grateful that so many of you have enjoyed this improvisational tune I posted. 

If I get enough requests, or anyone is interested in a serious manner, I would LOVE to record a written romantic flamenco guitar album, and classical guitar album,  where I actually have written and transcribed everything and professionally recorded it all...as opposed to what I had done with this improvisational piece that I recorded so many years ago in 30 minutes or so (literally just coming up with a quick chord structure to improvise over with a basic drum loop from garageband). 

Thank you everyone, and so happy to all that enjoy this improvisational tune.

Violonista e compositor, iniciou seus estudos em música aos 7 anos de idade e há 14 vem pesquisando a escola flamenca de violão. Desde 1998 atua como guitarrista flamenco e diretor musical em diversas atividades ligadas à cultura espanhola.
