Los Angeles-based DJ and producer, 88, is back with a new monthly residency on @dublab called Club Paradise. Airing every 2nd Friday night of the month, from 10pm-midnight, Club Paradise centers Baltimore, Jersey and Philly Club Music and its relationship with Hip Hop, Ballroom, House and Techno, while tying in Caribbean, Latin & African based Dancehall, Dembow and GQOM which influenced him after traveling abroad. Look forward to energetic, genre blending DJ sets, exclusive music and special guest sets. Club Paradise aims to highlight and blend urban music in all high energy electronic form.

Club Paradise’s 1 year anniversary features a high energy back to back from Bronx Producer & DJ, El Blanco Nino, and 88.

El Blanco Nino (@bl-nco) is a Producer, DJ & Instructor at Building Beats from The Bronx, NY. Blanco’s club edits and original productions have become a mainstay in the most tasteful of selectors libraries. From club music to footwork and drill, there’s almost no genre that he has yet to touch and add his flavor on. He’s also produced tracks for the likes of Princess Nokia and Little Simz. Big J is a Taiwanese American DJ/producer, musician, and multidisciplinary artist. Born and raised in Baltimore, JiaLing was a classically trained cellist for 15 years before moving to New York in 2015. They currently have a monthly residencies on Balamii / Hyde FM in addition to their residents with collectives Ayi Ayi (Brooklyn) and WOE (Baltimore).

"I recorded this in a take the night before heading out to Taiwan but was thinking about it for a while, included some of my staple tracks and dubs friends sent through. the focus for this mix was groove, as usual it spans a variety of genres/bpms with an orientation of house, breaks and electro."
