THE CONS: A GRASSROOTS-GROWN AMERICANA BAND
Combining backgrounds from old soul-filled hymns to rock & roll, blues to bluegrass, The Cons of Formant have established themselves as a core part of the Americana & Folk Rock movement. Their diverse blend of styles has created a beautiful balance of sound that is uniquely their own. 

After releasing their debut self-titled album, "The Cons of Formant," The Cons began work on their sophomore album, "Tributaries." This second album intentionally combines influences from their diverse musical backgrounds, personal life experiences and the reflections of their own journeys to create something true and unique. "Tributaries" was received with overwhelming support and continues to gain momentum.

Civil Soul is the solo musical project from multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Brent Morgan.
Using an eclectic mix of Jazz Chords/Classical Technique/R&B Rhythms/ and Whimsical Indie Rocker Vocals, Civil Soul gives you a unique experience that will soothe and charm every element of your being. 

Civil Soul is simple and relatable yet intricate and obscure as he brings a fresh approach to a classic one-man busking setup. That one man is Brent Morgan, an Arkansas native who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Central Arkansas. Aside from writing and performing as Civil Soul, he also teaches private Piano/Guitar lessons at Preston Palmer Studios and plays bass in the fabulous psych-rock group, Open Fields.

"His broad style aims to make one lose their inhibitions and move with the music while lyrically making use of progressive ideas to expand consciousness by questioning the ethics of modern society."
