Morning Ritual is pleased to announce the debut release from London's Eaux.
Eaux is the new project of former Sian Alice Group members Sian Ahern, Stephen Warrington and Ben Crook. Whilst still centering around the soaring vocals of Ahern, the group delves deeper into the darker electronic elements of their previous outfit with the inclusion of drum pads and samplers, pulsating percussive sequencers and layers of synths, intensifying the sound with hypnotic guitar arpeggios and bass loops. Structuring their songs to work with the constraints of a live sound, the trio switch between instruments, sounds and rhythmic patterns. From within this musical framework, Sian's uniquely beautiful voice effortlessly weaves together understated pop melodies with elements of folk, 60s psych & avant pop, German Kosmische and electronic music, to early British Industrial and Detroit techno.

The AA side single was recorded by Shuta Shinoda at the Tin Rooms in London and mastered by Noel Summerville(Autechre, Efterklang, My Bloody Valentine) and released on 18th June 2012 on 7" Vinyl and digital and available to pre-order now .

My remix for Moullinex's single "Darkest Night" taken from his debut album FLORA. The original was outstandingly “Tune of the Month” In MixMag.

This was one of my most challenging works so far because I still feel the original as a "non-touchable" masterpiece.

When I make a mix I try and tell a story. These aren't the newest or coolest songs on the block, and you probably wont hear me DJing most of them. Supernature (Hot Toddy Remix)

Most likely you all know who John Grant is, right? If not, I can tell you he's an american singer-songwriter that just released his second solo album called "Pale Green Ghosts", which is the follow up to "Queen of Denmark", from 2010, that took him to world praise, and a spot as #1 album of the year for Mojo magazine. 
The new album was produced by Biggi Veir of Iceland's electronic pioneers Gus Gus, and shows a new side of John Grant's music. 
I was brought on board to remix the title track "Pale Green Ghosts" and here's the result. For me this is undoubtedly one of the best things I made. Because John Grant and his label Bella Union loved the remix as much as I did we're are giving it away as free download to support the beginning of John Grant's world tour.
