Beavering away on their debut EP for the best part of a year, Cabana are a 3 piece indie rock band made up of 18 year olds Avi & Nushi and their best friend, a 17-year-old veteran of the game - Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper). They kick it together a lot in the South side of Melbourne, but you probably won't find them in the mall, or the beach, it's much more likely however, that you'll find them crammed into studio spaces across the city, making music since as far back as they can remember. Cabana’s first single, the huge 'Done As Dinner' has finally been unleashed on the world today and the Pilerats are more than excited to get it in & around your ears. I have been thinking about it a lot and I have decided that DUFFDISCO007 is the last 'bootleg' I am going to press to wax. It's been fun and I hope you all enjoyed them but I think it's the right time to stop. I am not stopping putting full originals on wax though!

I do however want to continue re-imagining songs and giving my interpretation of them for you to play and listen to and so i'll be giving the reworks away for free. I have set up a donations page if anyone wanted to help with covering the costs of mastering future tracks as i'd still want the best sound possible as I can't afford to be paying for it all myself.

So keep an eye out for new tracks! donate whatever you feel appropriate, of course you can still download if you can't afford to donate.

Whilst some people claim that the number seven is lucky, some people, like Duff, don’t believe in luck, or if there is such a thing as luck you make your own. You can’t rely on anyone else to hold your hand you know, you gotsta forge your own path, they aren’t called the mean streets for nothing. Duff is the sort of man who not only makes his own luck (cos who else is gonna look after you?) but he keeps an eye on his bredren too. Those in the neighbourhood feel safe because All’s Good in Duff’s hood, always has been, always will be, the police don’t even come there, because they don’t have to, that block is on lock-down brother.
 
Though he isn’t some type of machismo, over-the-top (hat back go-on Sly) caricature, it’s just the way it is, nuthin to argue about. He has a way about him, the glare of a Pitbull and the smile of Don Juan, Dusty is his girl yep that’s her real name, the name her mamma gave her on the day she was introduced to this world. The girl is fine that’s for sure but what else would you expect from the honey that rides shotgun with the sonic Casanova. She might call herself lucky. Duff would disagree.
