Sweeping orchestras collide with deep cinematic bass, ethereal synth textures, and haunting male chants. You’ll hear cathedral organs, ghostly oboes, and bagpipes echoing through timeless valleys, while modern sound design and hybrid percussion pulse beneath. I was a teenager in the 80s, and this instrumental music seemed to come out of nowhere. Energetic and powerful, it often played during major televised sporting events. Here is a revisited version of this Alan Parsons Project's song "Sirius".

J'étais adolescent dans les années 80, et cette musique instrumentale semblait sortir de nulle part. Énergique et puissante, elle passait souvent pendant les grands événements sportifs télévisés. Voici une version revisitée de cette chanson du Alan Parsons Project "Sirius".

With the passing of Robert Redford, many will remember Out of Africa, elevated by the sublime score of John Barry. Barry also composed the iconic theme for the 1970s British series The Persuaders!, starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. For me, this series is a true Proustian madeleine — a vivid childhood memory. Here is my modest and heartfelt version, not so far from the original.

Avec la disparition de Robert Redford, comment ne pas se souvenir de Out of Africa, porté par la sublime musique de John Barry. Ce même compositeur a également signé le générique de la série culte des années 70 Amicalement vôtre, réunissant Roger Moore et Tony Curtis. Cette série est pour moi une véritable madeleine de Proust, un souvenir d’enfance vibrant. Voici ma petite version, humble et sincère, pas si éloignée de l’original.

Con la desaparición de Robert Redford, es imposible no recordar Out of Africa, realzada por la sublime música de John Barry. Este mismo compositor también creó el tema de la emblemática serie de los años 70 Los Persuasores, con Roger Moore y Tony Curtis. Para mí, esta serie es una auténtica magdalena de Proust, un recuerdo de infancia lleno de emoción. Aquí les presento mi pequeña versión, humilde y sincera, no tan alejada de la original.

I've always envisioned the Beauvois sound as something ethereal, dreamy, and easy to listen to. Most of the track titles are usually reminiscent of something that's bigger than us, that we can't grasp entirely. This is what the Dimensions EP is to me - simple songs with no particular meaning; that will push you to think bigger about things, or just be contemplative of how small we are. Bigger than the universe, Dimensions is pushing the idea that there's more than one reality, and that ours may not be the one we fit it or deserve - but it's there, and we need to cherish it.
