1999 - 2019
The desire to mix began at the age of 13 when he went to a disco for the first time... in Majorca. Djo discovered the sound of dance bass and the violins and other brass instruments of disco until the end of the 90s. As a student, he was attracted to a pair of Technics SL-1200s at a friend's house and started to train on them to learn the basics of DJing. In 2001, he was invited to a private party in Strasbourg, then to the Golden Gate club, which offered him a residency on the very first night. It is under the pseudonym of DJ Pyke that he officiates during 3 years with a punchy, positive, groovy House - Tech House style with guests in most Alsatian clubs. After a 13 year break, the desire to get back to work is too strong.
 In 2019 Funky Djo comes back with a more mature, chic, festive, ultra danceable House / Nu Disco musical style mixing the latest productions of PDM or labels like Defected or Glitterbox.

Appreciated for his technical sets and his unbridled productions, Djos's Davis is the name to remember. His sets are enthusiastic and got punch. He producing remixes for the biggest (Laurent Garnier, Superfunk, Antoine Clamaran), and his own tracks are playlisted by Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Umek, Chus & Ceballos, Roger Sanchez, Agoria, Joachim Garraud, Antoine Clamaran. His presence on prestigious labels such as F-Communications, Parquet Recordings and DJ Center is not a coincidence.
