Andre Frauenstein (Lostly) is a name firmly established as one of the most exciting new stars in melodic trance but his origins were firmly established in the London Acid techno scene where he used to run shoulders with the Liberator DJs, Dave The Drummer, DDR and the Stay Up Forever community. Here, with Circuit Code, Andre finds a new home on DIT where he can return to his roots and release brilliant techno that fits immaculately into any style of banging set. Technoclub Pure continues to deliver consistently energetic peak-time monster tunes that can seamlessly transition to techno and trance DJ sets. This is the opportune moment for Talla 2XLC to collaborate with the renowned Italian Frankyeffe, also known as Francesco Fava, who holds a prominent position within the global techno circuit. Their collaborative effort, titled “Feel Alive,” is a testament to their hard work in the studio.
“Feel Alive” is a 140 BPM, straightforward peak-time mainstage techno trancer characterized by mechanical techno basslines, a rough techno kick, and pounding metallic drums that propel the track forward. The initial short breakdown introduces a cool trancy vocal, which is followed by a spoken female voice that encourages listeners to embrace the energy of “Feel Alive.” This section culminates in a lengthy and enigmatic breakdown replete with cinematic sound effects and a sci-fi atmosphere.
The build-up intensifies as additional synths are introduced, culminating in a brief pause for the haunting female voice to reappear, reigniting the listener’s enthusiasm. The climax is powerful, heavy, raw, and unstoppable, featuring dirty synths, dystopian industrial sounds, and the captivating rave-style voice melodies.
The fundamental elements of “Feel Alive” are tightly crafted and solidly produced, with powerful themes and a mystical atmosphere that shape it into a formidable weapon for any techno or tech trance DJ during the upcoming festival season.
