Her expeditions to the Amazon led her to a world of ancient Peruvian cumbia and horror at the sight of The Bushmaster the most venomous pit viper in the jungle, known by the elders as the Shushupe. That's where Ursula gets her

Citizen Jane is not the typical DJ who just spins, within her live performance she incorporates live singing and strong interaction with the crowd, pumping and interacting with them is why she is one of the top in demand DJ's in festivals to be booked. Her style of performance ranges from EDM, Electric Pop, Mixed Top 40 to EDM, all depending on the genre and event, one of the many reasons she is booked worldwide. Citizen Jane's first single off her debut "Rescue Me" was released in July 2019 and is trending the dance charts. The song is on the top streaming charts on Spotify and iTunes Music.  Citizen Jane was the Headlining DJ to over 50,000 at Wynwood Pride, produced by Swarm. Citizen Jane was given the headlining slot at the iconic Music Festival Mardi Gras in Sydney Australia (headlining to over 45,000). CJ was the lone woman on the billing of Folsom Fair in San Francisco of their Saturday crown night "Magnitude" as direct support to Chus + Ceballos in the main room catapulting her status to top-level DJ.  Citizen Jane won 2014, 2015 & 2017 Pink Flamingo Awards for "Best DJ" which is voted 100% by the public winning the award over Grammy-nominated DJ's. 
Citizen Jane has many year's of experience in the community and has been headlining DJ in major Circuit Events in the US, Latin America, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.  
CJ headlined the sold-out event "Priday" for LIVE NATION at Gramercy Theatre and was the guest musical act at Madison Square Garden (the most famous arena in the world).  Her DJ/Producer Career continues to grow with every passing year. She is what they are calling the Fresh Sound DJ of the New Generation.
