Dj Suave Dj / Producer / Remixer / Soul City Events from Los Angels California U.S.A. 

Dj Suave is a 35 year dj veteran with no signs of slowing down. He started djing in 1985 and was heavily influenced by the mix masters on 1580 KDAY which included The World Class Wreckin Crew & Jamin Gemini.
 
He was introduced to House music in 1987 by a friend that had a mix tape by the Legendary New York Dj Larry Levan. Since that day Dj Suave fell in love with House music and has never looked back!!
 
Around 1989-91 that same friend introduced Suave to the Underground scene, and that’s were he saw Doc Martin and Suave’s dj education began. All through out the 90’s Dj Suave learned from the best. Doc Martin, Marques Wyatt, Dj Sneak, Mark Farina, Louie Vega, The Wicked Crew and Steve Loria. And later on it was Dj Harvey and Francois Kevorkian who where highly influential.
 
Hailing from West Covina, Dj Suave noticeably stood out from the rest of his dj peers through out the S.G.V. & I.E. Due to his Underground education, while all the other djs were playing “Hard House” Dj Suave stayed true to himself and kept on pushing Underground House music. And that caught the attention of Richard Vission. Dj Suave was asked to be a regular on Powertools, making him not the first dj to play underground Deep House, but he was the first regular dj on Powertools to play Deep Underground House Music. Suave was a regular on Powertools from 1994 – 2003.
 
In 2004 he was also the first to introduce the 3-turntable set up to the East side club scene. During his residency @ Qc’s for Lucky Lounge, Dj Suave build a House following in the patio, to such a point that it was almost like two different events going on.
 
From that following he was able to build what was to become one of the biggest House Music events in Los Angeles………SOUL CITY!!!!
 
In April 2006 Dj Suave did his first Soul City event @ Ambiente in Alhambra. And from there it went from Crazy Horse, Playhouse, Avalon, Luna, Sound & Exchange L.A.
 
Dj Suave is one of the most versatile djs around. From Latin, Funk, Afro-Beat, Disco, Latin Jazz, Bosa, D&B, Soul, Deep House, House, Tech & Techno. With over 16K records, Dj Suave still plays vinyl as much as he can. Producing the “Estereo” parties, which featured an all vinyl classic house night.
 
Francois Kevorkian, Dj Harvey & Doc Martin are Dj Suave’s teachers and have been the most influential in Dj Suave’s dj career.
 
The past 15 years Suave has played at Club/Raves all over L.A., San Diego, San Francisco, Vegas including Chicago, Miami, Denver, El Paso, Toronto, Baltimore and Mexico City! With serious production time being put in, Suave will be releasing numerous tracks on Move Rec. out of Spain.

Keinemusik is a network with the label as the pulse pumping centre. Driven particularly by the spirit that moves the collective behind the imprint. The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path. Be it within their own tracks, within productions of other sorts or DJ-sets. The spirit of recall value within record- and flyer-artworks and everything intermediate in word and image surrounding releases and parties. And the spirit of diversification – Rampa’s effect-gadget-venture TEILE being one example. Keinemusik’s own booking department ‘Worldwide Dancing Club’, established in 2018, being another.

Keinemusik has been around since 2009. It has been naming an existing friendship and linked interests of the four members – &ME, Adam Port, Rampa and Reznik. A more or less constant count of five releases per year have been released ever since, solely laid down by members of the crew. And a considerable count of label-parties went down, not only in Berlin, but around all international focal points for electronic music. And surely, there’s plenty more where those came from.
