III. Lahmu, the Astronaut's Refuge

A new version of the "Ballata dei Folletti", music of the theatrical piece "L'ISOLA STREGATA" written by my soul mate Annalisa Rossi. This woodwinds trio was used to highlight the adventures of 3 sprites. 

After a storm making a boat sinking off the coast of the bewitched island, the bored sprites started slowly to trick on themselves, then they go on dancing and singing until discover some shipwrecked boys. Excited they don't know what to do, asking themselves whether tell the witches or not. In the meantime the boys disappeared in the forest and the sprites get bored again, restarting to trick on themselves.

Ballad of the Sprites

I was born in Roasio, a small town located 90km from Torino, in north Italy. I’ve obtained an university degree in Electronic Engineering in 1989, and I’m currently working as a software engineer at Applied Materials Italia SRL in Reggio nell'Emilia, Italy. In July 2006 I’ve completed a 2-years course in Sound Engineering at percentomusica school of music.

In 1989 I moved to Colleferro, working for several years as software developer at the IRIS, the Bontempi/Farfisa computer music research center in Paliano. Here I met Fabio Armani with which founded Night Wings. We participated to the European Musicians’ HOMERECORDING 93/94 contest, obtaining the publications of The Five Sides Of A Story song. In 1995 Futura Music published the song Lost Dragons.

Contemporarily I joined first the Mood Celebration quartet (with Pier Luigi Tosco, Bruno Stella and Marco Bianchi) and later, together with Bruno and Marco, the Io, Mammeta & Blues… group.

Currently I’m keyboardist and composer in the bocatoro café group, founded in 2004, after the successful participation to the Giuliano Rock Festival with some of the bocatoro café musicians.

In January 2009 issue of New Age & New Sounds magazine (n. 192) an interview to me was published, and No War, No More (reprise) song was reviewed.

As assistant sound engineer I collaborate with RIFF RAFF JAZZ and ELEFANTE BIANCO and studios, recording for the former a full orchestra at Fossa (AQ) playing the Chaplin’s Modern Time score.

Moreover, on October 29, 2007 I’ve also collaborated on the Jimmy Fontana concert “Cinquantanni” ...un mondo in musica... at the Teatro Vittoria in Roma.

I've worked with Raimondo Mosci with our Mobile Recording Studio, used to record and possibly mix low to medium budget projects.

Currently I’m working as composer and sound engineer for the theatrical pieces written and directed by Annalisa Rossi, my wife.

After 2 years in Great Britain and 3 in Sweden, in June 2019 we moved to Reggio nell'Emilia, Italy, from which in December 2022 we relocated in Telde, Gran Canaria.
