At the NYE 2013/14 power hour with 100% vinyl at a meanwhile famous WWII spot somewhere in Cologne. Done here in a 4:14 take of a 6 hour "Psycho Thrill phuture classic"/ b2b-set by Cologne's Techno pioneers CLAUS BACHOR and ROLAND CASPER, with reference to the BALLHAUS/ 42dp/ KIT CLUB / ARTHEATER/ SENSOR periods as well as the 2011/16 "BNKR ALRM" presence ( ... light human mix errors included cause we're definitely no mix-robots). That mixwerk finally live recorded and mastered by our label-mate Andreas Eller.

Rave like it’s 1991! Psycho Thrill Cologne founder CLAUS BACHOR spinnin’ and cuttin’ the final chapter of the famous BNKR ALRM spot somewhere in Cologne (4:30-7:00 am) in an emotional as seriously bangin’ 100% vinyl, cut-up 90s Rave-Techno-set, enriched with an abundance of so called true “Psycho Thrill Cologne” Techno Classics and combined with essential and contemporary upfront soundz as well. That rave went like all those legendary “bnkr alrm” nites before, where the sweat always dropped from the ceiling while people started to dance their asses off like hell. Luv-n-respect goes first to the whole awesometastic BNKR family (crowd and crew) through all those adventurous years and also to all the other involved DJ companions of that nite like Johannes Volk, Roland Casper, David Langer, Anabasine, Thorsten Hoffmann, Kavaro, Blint, Neitscho Miran Nolden and Stickdorn.  

This mix is also dedicated to BOB MONTAGUE, who has passed away peacefully after a long illness in the morning of dec 13th. Also well known under his nickname Punjabi Bill, the famous creator of Cologne's "Ifficial Art / BNKR Project", has been one of PSYCHO THRILL Cologne's best friends and one of his biggest supporters and wise mentors of the last 25 years. He's still gone now but will never be forgotten. R.I.P. / Thank U and Chapeau BOB !!

19-01-2008 :: Claus Bachor playing a crafty and diverse 100% vinyl 7 hour Club Techno_set - this one is the first part of four - at the 11th anniversary of BANG! - West Germany´s most famous Gay & Lesbian TECHNO_event since the years at ZECHE DRUCKLUFT _ Oberhausen, which went on-and-on-and-on ... that night until the following day. People demanded NO Minimal and so they finally got this slammin´ uncompromising Techno, Acid House and Street-Electro set,  including some rare classics, timeless stuff mixed with the highlights of contemporary future Tech-Funk. At the end they´ve got it bangin´ - but all the way funky and especially groovy. And Psycho Thrill says "Big Ups" to all those cool people out there at BANG!: Klaus, Torso, Nicole, Francesco and the rest  of the fantastic crowd, who made that unbelievable night happen! Back in the Cologne Rave Club days I've got a copy of this very interesting mix by my DJ friend Claus Bachor. This tape recorded live via SONY tape-recorder-mic in january 1988, at Hamburg´s legendary Front club, showing 46 Minutes of universal House riddim glory by Germany´s one and only real DJ legend Klaus Stockhausen behind the decks. This mix is regretfully in very poor sound condition but is characterized by an extrem euphoric party atmosphere where the crowd screams partially as hell to outstanding House tracks from the late 80s. With "SpyInTheHouse" he now returns after 10 years into the “radio business” on a regular basis, where he had been mediating the essentials of electronic music for years between the Techno/House main cities such as Detroit, Chicago or Berlin via "Evosonic" (1997 - 1999) and Cosmium Radio (1999 - 2002). Something that currently wasn’t that easy.

So "SpyInTheHouse" continues to follow the path of enthusiastic overtones and stands simply for the democracy of the so-called "cutting edge" tracks of House, Techno, Acid, Broken Beat and IDM that do sometimes leave the usual club microcosm according to the motto "Take the best from the past and move the next step 4ward into the future!"

PSYCHO THRILL Cologne-founder CLAUS BACHOR is one of the German long-term House and Techno DJs at all, and as friends in Detroit say "he's been doing this as long as anybody else that we know! His sets can range from classic Disco & old school House classics all the way to the darkest, bangin' techno that you've ever heard!" However, he's not standing still yet: The Psycho Thrill club and vinyl label run by him has just turned 25 and Bachor is still doing bookings all over Europe, the United States and beyond. 

His long-term affiliations with Detroit techno music and also his journalistic involvement with the topic of Detroit Techno/ Electro/ Chicago-House as an author/editor over the years has made him a world renowned expert. This experience and vast knowledge of the techno genre has led him to appearing in many documentaries, the most noteable being 'High Tech Soul' [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddh88l_57Bk ] which focused on the creation of Detroit techno music. Other film credits include being involved in the highly acclaimed 'We Call it Techno' [ https://www.discogs.com/Various-We-Call-It-Techno/release/1388974   //   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWPFrWojYQ4 ] documentary which focused on Germany's early techno scene and club culture. 

Without using the usual hype for trends, he has managed to gain a position as multi-communicator in the German Techno and House scene, in which he is always convincing as a DJ.
