This is the first from a three-part series of a freshly squeezed vinyl collaboration between Detroit's XPLOR Music and Cologne's PSYCHO THRILL Rec. imprint that breathes new life into the venerable relationship between those two Techno cities since the days when Motor City Deejays hit the Cologne club ground first in 1991.
 
So a quality production from the D' lasts forever when the God Of The Machine (Derrick Thompson) spawns another Deep Tech Detroit mindbender with "Look At The Earthling“ on the XPLOR Music A-side. Silky, lush chords over a classicly fat electro rhythm track fuse perfectly for late night sonic euphoria. While Rennie Foster kicks the tempo up a notch for his electrifying "Alien In Detroit Mix." A pounding beat syncopation sets a clear path as an evolution of stabs and riffs follow in lockstep.

On the Psycho Thrill flip Cologne's low frequency Bootzer „Raw Edits“ erupt the scene with two quaking earth-shakers. Potentially active, both the „Break“ and the „Dub Booster“ reach out the Jungle and Dub-Techno massive with their pounding strong drums and huge basslines at a more manageable place. Sure to overshadow other cuts in your set, so save it to mix with only your most lethal tunes.

PSYCHO THRILL Cologne-founder CLAUS BACHOR is one of the German long-term House and Techno DJs at all, and as friends in Detroit say "he's been doing this as long as anybody else that we know! His sets can range from classic Disco & old school House classics all the way to the darkest, bangin' techno that you've ever heard!" However, he's not standing still yet: The Psycho Thrill club and vinyl label run by him has just turned 25 and Bachor is still doing bookings all over Europe, the United States and beyond. 

His long-term affiliations with Detroit techno music and also his journalistic involvement with the topic of Detroit Techno/ Electro/ Chicago-House as an author/editor over the years has made him a world renowned expert. This experience and vast knowledge of the techno genre has led him to appearing in many documentaries, the most noteable being 'High Tech Soul' [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddh88l_57Bk ] which focused on the creation of Detroit techno music. Other film credits include being involved in the highly acclaimed 'We Call it Techno' [ https://www.discogs.com/Various-We-Call-It-Techno/release/1388974   //   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWPFrWojYQ4 ] documentary which focused on Germany's early techno scene and club culture. 

Without using the usual hype for trends, he has managed to gain a position as multi-communicator in the German Techno and House scene, in which he is always convincing as a DJ.
