03 - Another Year

Acoustic/Indie/Folk music written, produced, recorded and mixed by Adam Claybourne, with technical help from brother Christian Klausner and good friend Chris Rickon. Often sad songs on the surface, but plenty of depth to swim down to find all the beautiful emotions life has to offer; Longing, wisdom, humor, anger, love, all hidden in the lyrics and ever changing melodies.

Adam Claybourne started writing, recording and performing at the age of 14 with an old starcaster acoustic guitar, a guitar hero 3 wii usb mic and audacity. Beginning with enough heart and dedication to continue on through the years learning music production and updating his home studio, he’s now accomplished two full length studio LPs and an EP, along with a few smaller exclusive live demos.

The music is unique to say the least. You can hear the clear inspiration from artists like Damien Rice, Ben Howard, Glen Hansard, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, and Trevor Hall, but Adam Claybournes’ fresh approach in his lyrics and melodies leave no sense of “I’ve heard this before”. It’s the kind of raw music that will talk directly to your soul.
