The Untouchables and Resound join forces for a soundclash of gargantuan proportions on the Separate Reality EP. Known for their heavyweight tribal sound, the trio jump into action with title-track Separate Reality, a maelstrom of thumping kicks, distorted bass, and swirling atmospherics. Switching into more experimental territory, Mystic Arts is a hypnotic concoction of stumbling drums, flanged-bass, and eerie dubwise reverberations. 

On the flip, The Untouchables resume the journey with Devourer of World, the sonic-equivalent of a black hole, ravenously consuming everything in its path with sub bass from deep space. The Beast is a behemoth of a track, opening with a subtle percussive rattle that drops with the force of a magnitude 10.0 earthquake to bring things to a close.

Philth returns to Dispatch for 2016, with a 2nd EP entitled ‘The Circle’ to follow up last year’s ‘Cosmos’. Developing his journey and continuing to impress, it cements his status as one of the key up-comers to watch in D&B this year.

Harboring a lethal groove amongst tightly crafted drums and relentless lows, Philth keeps us intrigued through the chaos. With dark soundscapes and carefully chosen samples, the intensity levels remain high, but energy is retained consistently, without ever losing momentum.

His debut track on Dispatch ‘Your Love’ receives a huge rework from SCAR to lead the EP, plus a fresh 2016 remaster, whilst dancefloor pick ‘Yeti’ joins two collaborations; a shadow stepper with Kolectiv & Bredren and infectious title track ‘The Circle’ alongside Wreckless.

Man Power left his Northern home and ran south of the border. This is his first offering for the ESP Institute. On side A, he proves that he truly is 'The Tourist', delivering what we’re already toting as our Summer anthem—a relentless hurricane drum pattern full of toms, timbales and splashes that lays the rhythmic foundation for his Pacific chords and euphoric melodies–an undeniable floor-filler that invites all to dance unencumbered by the constraints of “functional” club music. With side B’s 'Oye', Man Power rolls out a similarly vibrant combination of drums and rhythm, however he toughens up the aesthetic with a massive rolling acid bassline, only briefly letting up for a spot of layered marimbas and spriteful pads before culminating in an emotional finale. After spending a couple years churning out tracks for various labels around the world, Man Power has undoubtably shifted his narrative point-of-view and updated his sense of craft upon his induction to the ESP Institute. These two songs will throw a wrench in your holiday.

The latest release from O.M.D (Old Man Diode / Valve), Smoke - Black/Amber, a straight up dance record harking back to the 90’s 12inch format - long play tunes with growing builds, heavy drops and cut up beats. This release pairs 2 tracks, sharing musical themes and form, referencing 90s era DnB productions, some of the sound and vibe of early Metalheadz and V recordings tunes with a more contemporary club weight.  Black smoke is your classic heavy A side, long intro and heavy tearing drop. Amber smoke samples Guqin master Yuan Jung-Ping to bring in a more uplifting and expansive vibe, still a tune with weight but adding to the tradition of a more introspective B side.

The O.M.D moniker is Jo Wills (Old Man Diode/Valve/Jetsam/Sion) going back to his roots in club music, electronica and Jungle. Time honoured club structures and 21st century bass.

For our final release of 2016, we are proud to have reached our milestone 100th Dispatch release, marking the occasion with a Various Artists’ compilation featuring some of our favourite producers from the past and present.

Celebrating some of the artists that have moulded the label today, whilst simultaneously showcasing upcoming talent, the album is split into two parts – the ‘Future Blueprint’; including original / newly remixed music from the likes of DLR, Skeptical, Gerra, Stone & Cern and the ‘Past Blueprint’; a selection of our best loved cuts from over the years, with numerous showings from Survival, Break and Zero T, plus classics from A.I., Marcus Intalex and Duo Infernale.

Reflecting on how the label and artists have developed together in time, further names appear on both Parts 1 & 2, including Script (on ‘Sahara’ with Survival and also the classic ‘Set Up The Set’) and label boss Ant TC1, alongside Chris SU and Stress Level first for ‘Waves’ and now, remixing Nymfo’s ‘Coming Through’ with Seattle duo Quadrant & Iris.

With special thanks to all the fans, press and DJs that have supported us over the years, we are thrilled to have made it to a century of releases; with so much good music around today, we look forward to sharing our plans for 2017 and on.

In this release they've collabed again with New Zealand talent including Woody, who is new to the Section 8 roster, and also including JabZ MC who was featured in the previous 'Back to Basics part I' track released in 2016 and 2015's New World Order' vinyl release. This LP represents a culmination of styles with the signature dark and gritty feel that Sick Cycle brings to the table. This release comes just after their recent single 'Deep in the Woods' which hit digital outlets in January. 'Hammered' is set to land on all digital outlets on May 1 with a release party in Christchurch now in planning....
