Space Pig recordings is A BRAND New record label coming from the Emerald Isle. With years of production and dj experience behind him, Irish dj and Producer Brian Taaffe embarks on his new venture and creating a new empire under the space pig regime. Setting up this label is a very important stage in the career and dj life of Brian, having co run another label, time is at hand to try push a European brand of techno to the Irish shores. With this label we are trying to create a brand of funk and groove felt across the globe and through-out the world of techno. 

Our Ethos is to create a flow of genuine production talent across the genres of house, techno and everything in between, while releasing every e.p. with an Irish connection and promoting the host of genius that Ireland has to Offer.

Benji B is one of the world’s most respected music curators. He maintains an unrivalled level of credibility as a radio broadcaster, a DJ, a record producer and musical director. Benji has held one of the most influential radio shows in the world since the early 2000s, and his global connections span across genres and generations. He has had the honour of conducting significant interviews with culturally revered artists and creatives, some of which are no longer with us. 

Considered a key international tastemaker, Benji B has toured the world as a club DJ for 20 years. He is currently a regular fixture at Circoloco and Manchester’s Warehouse Project. Benji runs the legendary Deviation club nights, since 2007, and has had guests such as A$AP Rocky, James Blake, Kaytranada, Moodymann, Skepta, Travis Scott, Virgil Abloh. Each year, the brand brings its signature sound and energy to Notting Hill Carnival, hosting a highly anticipated stage on the Sunday in collaboration with Killerwatt Soundsystem. 

Benji has also worked with many established recording artists including the likes of Kanye West (‘Yeezus’, ‘Life of Pablo’, and Sunday Sessions), Miles Davis and Bashy.With every project he works on, Benji B ignores dated genre boundaries and celebrates the connections between different musical worlds. He flies the flag for music’s deep history, while also encouraging the new artists who are pushing it forward.

Within fashion, Benji B worked with Phoebe Philo for a number of years on the Celine runway music until her final season and was the music director for Louis Vuitton Mens during Virgil Abloh’s tenure,where he considers some of his most special work in this space to have been created.  Currently, Benji B is the musical director for Burberry, Carven, Jil Sander and Lacoste. Music direction for both runway and film has since become a big part of his multi disciplined work in music.

Young, up and coming Tech-house DJ/Producer with the experience of playing along side some of the biggest names in dance music...Mark Brown, Yousef &amp; Sebastien Leger to name but a few. Also no stranger to playing along side some of the big hitters in trance an hard dance, with the likes of Sander Van Doorn, Marco V and Richard Durand topping the bill. With this sterling experience under his belt Sean is quickly gaining a solid reputation as a DJ who knows how to entertain a crowd!!
Techno style of production, his debut release 'Creek' came out on Carl Cox's favoured label Mad Hatter recordings earlier last year and gained support from some of the major players on the dance circuit including air time on BBC's Radio 1 thanks to Eddie Halliwell. His follow up... a 4 track E.P. was released last year on Italian label "Intensive Records" and also gained some great recognition from DJ's worldwide.
Whilst it was a brilliant start to his production career Sean made the decision to spend some time travelling but is now settled in London where he hopes to immerse himself back into his music and continue where he left off.
With a busy Dj schedule and some really exciting releases in the pipeline...2012 looks like an exciting year for this young artist!!!

Shane David IE is a 29 year old producer & performer from Ireland.

Starting out a s a DJ he played many of Ireland's top nightclubs such as the Tripod & Twisted Pepper in Dublin, Cuba nightclub in Galway and the Clarance in Sligo. While also playing mini festivals across the country, featuring in the same bill with artists such as Slam, Paul Woolford & Sunil Sharpe.

In recent years Shane has turned his focus to music creation and live performance. His production style is deep, repetitive, house influenced, techno. His live sets, which feature outboard gear with as much analog as possible, are much the same style, although he has been known to go where ever the music takes him.
