Prenatal Hunters (Floex Revision)

We had fun recording this holiday classic, where our two "singers" are a piano and a chip lead. Although the lyrics of the original song are quite dated, we enjoy the interplay between the characters of the song from a musical standpoint--two adults bantering in a loose, improvisatory manner. We both wish you warm and happy holidays (because baby, it's cold outside!)

Hey guys, here is my first attempt at a Sonic theme. This is an orchestration I made on a live stream of the well known Hidden Palace Zone theme that was in Sonic 2. As I first heard the original I immediately had some ideas so I decided to give this theme a very whimsical feel.

Rise of the Death Egg

Well, here's something a bit different. Two remixes from Sonic 3 & Knuckles used for a 20th Anniversary animation, based on the wonderful written works of Nigel Kitching and artwork of Richard Elson, the beginning of Sonic the Comic's Running Wild arc, where Super Sonic really begins to take on a life of his own.

Yuski about a month ago messaged me that he was preparing an animation for Sonic's 20th anniversary to be shown at Summer of Sonic 2011, and wondered if I wanted to help with the backing music. Of course, I said yes. Thus, this remix of Hidden Palace was born.

This one goes on longer than the one shown in the animation, as we got the timing down to fit one single loop of the song perfectly (gotta love it when things come together perfectly like that), so there's multiple loops of the track before it finishes here. This track actually took a number of restarts before getting it right, something that tends to happen to me. I'll work on a remix for an hour, listen to it, not be happy with it and scrap it, and then restart the next day on it from scratch until I get it right. After.. 4 tries, I think, with this one, did I finally get it sounding like this. (No, I don't have any versions of the scrapped mixes left, so there's no point in asking!)

If you were at Summer of Sonic yesterday, you got to experience the animation on a large screen projector along with myself and Tom (who did Sonic's voice), which was an amazing experience. (Especially everyone's reaction, really great seeing that(!)) There is going to be more animated for it, but probably at a little bit of a slower rate as we don't have a month deadline to work to this time(!)
