Matimba Watson Mabasa (born 12  September 1993), better known by his stage name Clein Buoy, is a south African Songer-songwriter, record producer, sound engineer. Clein Buoy started rapping in 2004 and was ranked as one of the rapper in the village of Shigalo where he grew up. Due to a lack of studio equipment’s he used to just free style on downloaded beats and never wrote any lyrics at the time, He then began to write lyrics and faced the mic in 2012 to record some few songs which had made him lose his confidence in rapping as he felt like he was not good and all this time people just loved him because he was a cool kid. Hence, he had to cease doing music and focused on his studies. In 2014 he taught himself the FL software and started making beats during his spare time. He then developed his confidence in his beat making skills and gained a tremendous recognition by a lot of artists and producers.
Clein Buoy has produced for artists, upcoming and promising rappers and singers like (Brian Bomba, Volcano, Leo Bee, ATHIMDA, Blaqverse, CVP The Problem, C-Siders, Jalter Jay, West Heidik,  just to mention a few) and he is now ranked as one of the best producers in Limpopo. He has also released and mixtape (The Cordless) which he just made beats and featured upcoming artists from Eastern Cape, Cape Town, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Limpopo. The mixtape was featured at The Dope Spot at Munghana Lonene FM where it was reviewed by the listeners and the feedback was extremely positive.
After getting the recognition as a producer he then surprisingly started releasing his own music in which he sings in an amazing way, which was a great shock to a lot of people who knew him as a rapper and those who knew him as just a record producer. We can't deny that the boy is talented as he's again also consistently ranked as one of the greatest Hip-hop/Rnb Artist in Limpopo and he has released a number of hit singles like ''Vutomi Bya Mali" which features Volcano and DMS Music ZA, "Dee Jay" which features Brian Bomba and Volcano,  "Wena Ntsena" which features no one  and the his latest hit single "She Better Than You' which features some biggest nominated and award winning artists, Ras Canly & Rejoinder . He is also a member of a Hip Hop crew “We Double C Gang”
