One of these rare moments:
Sometime last week, 1am - just finished watching a movie and it was time to get some sleep. But I don't wanted to, even though I was pretty tired. I wanted to do something, be active. So I sat down and played some notes on my piano.. one thing led to another - 4am.

Open windows, traffic sounds - the city was waking up again already. Microphones hanging out of my window.. yep, that's a passing truck in this track.. it's this time in the morning, when I feel really creative and things can be so easy.

This is The Awakening.

Watching Silo and loving the soundtrack I felt inspired to make my own orchestral version as a tribute and practice. Hope you enjoy :)

Took about a month to buy a guitar (cheap Squire Strat, if you must know, which I love), reflex my old fingers after years of neglect of strumming. Another week to get one good take of complete improvisation. And now I know the cheap Squire will be back for more. :)
