“Cunda’s Last Supper” is a raw, reverent Delta-style ballad retelling one of the most misunderstood moments in Buddhist history—the final meal offered to the Buddha by the humble blacksmith Cunda. Rooted in the spirit of the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra, the song blends ancient compassion with the gritty intimacy of American blues.

The story unfolds through Cunda’s eyes: a working man who offers his best meal to the Buddha, only to later fear that he caused the Teacher’s final illness. The blues tradition of guilt, trembling hands, and honest sorrow becomes the perfect vehicle for this tale. But the song carries the deeper revelation preserved in the sutra—that the Buddha reassured Cunda that his offering was one of the two greatest meals in history, completing the arc of enlightenment with boundless merit.

With minimal Delta blues instrumentation, warm lantern-lit imagery, and a voice soaked in humility and redemption, “Cunda’s Last Supper Blues” transforms a moment of anguish into a luminous teaching on grace. The song honors the working man’s heart, the compassion of the Eternal Buddha, and the quiet dignity of someone who fears they’ve harmed what they most love—only to be lifted by mercy beyond the world.

A blues gospel of forgiveness and awakening, this track reveals the cosmic tenderness at the center of the Nirvāṇa Sūtra: no act of sincere love is ever wasted.

I was just a poor old smith,
Hands burnt, weary, thin…
Cooked a supper for the Teacher,
Didn’t know where he had been.
When he bowed and took my offering,
Lord, my heart began to spin.

Verse 2

Later on I heard him coughing,
Saw his robe fall to the side…
A cold wind blew through Pāvā,
And the whole world turned its tide.
I said, “God forgive these hands of mine—
Was it my food that made him die?”


Chorus

Oh, I thought I broke the Holy One,
Thought I crushed a living sun…
Cried, “Lord, I didn’t mean no harm—
I was only trying to feed someone.”
But the Buddha sent word through Ānanda:
“Child, your love and shame weigh none.”


Verse 3

Ānanda found me trembling,
Said, “Brother, don’t you fall apart—
The Blessed One is eternal,
Can’t no sickness touch his heart.”
He said, “Cunda, your gift was sacred—
From the start, child, from the start.”

Verse 4

He said there’s two great meals in history:
One began the rising dawn…
Given by sweet Sujātā
On the day Enlightenment shone.
And the other one, the final one—
Brother, your hands carried it on.

I was only trying to feed someone.”
But the Buddha sent word through Ānanda:

Hello and welcome! I'm an independent composer, musician, music teacher and producer from Düsseldorf/Germany. I played guitar and/or keyboards in various (rock/prog/indie/fusion/whatever) bands for years. Now I spend most of my time hanging out in the studio, creating tracks for video and TV content. Trying to be versatile, mixing and matching all kinds of genres I like. And I still don't use gen AI for my music.

It was quite a long way to get to this place. But now I'm here. Just listen.

I might be a guy from Munich, Bavaria, but I'm a huge fan of irish music and celtic music in general and also of Ireland and also Scotland as countries. It's the culture and the vibe in general which made me falling in love a bit with those places.

I mostly write my lyrics myself, always completely randomly, and produce the songs with the help of AI. That's just because I can't really sing and AI is therefore a good tool for realizing ideas. Technology is not my intention, it's the music.

Besides, I don't do this for money or anything like that; it's purely a hobby. It's important to me that people listen to the songs honestly if they like them.

Future rave, hard groove and high-tempo energy. I make music for late nights, loud rooms and people who want to feel something.

I have been making tracks since 2019.

I usually create 2 to 4 tracks a day .... sooooo be ready for a steady stream of new music.

Based in The United States -Michigan, DJQuackerKing joins YGPSTUDIOS as a songwriter and generative conceptual design integrator to create and share unique stories, experiences, and vibes through music. Whether it's electronic dance, slow and romantic, or just plain story telling... I'll try to have a bit of weirdness. You either like it or don't.  Being generative, what flows today may not tomorrow, but the story never changes.

NEZARI is an experimental artist who refuses to be confined by any single genre. Aeternasol is a project that captures the light and shadow flowing through the cracks of unseen worlds. It weaves sound from the lingering echoes of lost cities, the breath of ancient stars, and the subtle vibrations that emerge from the folds of time.

This music does not lead toward a destination. Instead, it quietly lingers at the threshold where consciousness gently trembles and expands, allowing each scene, each feeling, each ray of light to slowly reveal itself.

Sometimes like a faint glow, sometimes like the still darkness beneath the earth— Aeternasol’s sound passes through multiple layers of reality, leaving small, soft traces in the listener’s inner world.
